Cody Koa Holiday
4.3
( 8 reviews )

5561 Greybull Hwy, Cody, WY 82414, United States

“This is a decent KOA. The sites are gravel and somewhat level with full hookups. The back up to each other and share water and electrical boxes, which can get tight when slides from both RVs are out. Our site was a patio pull through, and the layout was strange. We had to pull way forward to clear our little fence, and our sewer was the furthest one away. Luckily the people behind us were okay with switching sewers with us as they were not hooked up yet. The location to the east entrance of Yellowstone is 53 miles away, which is just over an hour drive. This was a quiet, clean park. My biggest complaint is the extra fees. We were charged a $5 resort fee per day, but because it was after Labor Day the pool and jacuzzi was closed, and the bus ride to the rodeo were closed. I thought it was okay, since we were going to eat the pancake breakfast every morning, but that was closed as well. They don’t even offer trash pickup, so we paid an extra $5 per night for literally nothing. Then there’s the dog fee, $3 per dog, which is okay, but not when I had to pick up dog poo from someone else during setup.”

“Nice campground to stop for the night. Pull through sites, clean, locked restrooms, good internet. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Sites are all gravel with no trees. It is conveniently located right off Rt. 80, which is nice, but loud traffic noise.”

“This large camping area is the most centrally located in the park. At Canyon Village near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone each night's fees include a hot shower which is much welcome after hiking around the park on a humid day. The …”

“Friendly, comfortable campground with an amazing on site barbecue!!! Nice enough dog run. I seriously had the best bbq chicken I’ve ever eaten. Great pie for desert as well. We will certainly return if near Cheyenne on future travels.”

Jenny Lake Campground
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Teton Park Rd, Moose, WY 83012, United States

“The camping was not very fun because the campsites are not built well and easily flood and there are tons of obnoxious tourists coming through to take the shuttle to the falls. You’re better off walking to the falls. But joe the host was awesome while the lady host was super rude. Pretty nice views though.”

Colter Bay Rv Park

100 Colter Bay Campground Road, Colter Bay RV Park, 100 Colter Bay Village Rd, Moran, WY 83013, United States

“Very good location of RV park. A couple of minutes from the beautiful view of the mountains, the beach with pebbles and the crystal clear water of the lake. Our family stayed there for four days and four nights. We stood with a full hookup, it was wonderful, although but little expensive ...”

Lava Mountain Lodge

3577 US-26, Dubois, WY 82513, United States

“When you travel by bike you don't have many options. Your range is limited and in this environment you make do with what you come across. So also in the case of the lava mountain lodge. We were in need of a good meal. Upon entering we did not immediately feel welcome. Would they prefer no one there (we were the only ones). Nevertheless, we took a seat and we were approached in a friendly manner, but it did not feel sincere. We ordered our food and drinks (see below) and filled our empty stomachs. Before we left we visited the toilet. It was really too dirty to visit actually. Smelled and the floor was wet. A real shame. The restaurant looks good inside. But if you zoom in and make contact, it is disappointing. our advice: drive on to Crooked Creek Guest Ranch, everything is better there: the food, the view, the people! well worth the extra miles!”
