Camping Stein Am Simssee

Closed until 03:00 PM

See 10, 83093 Bad Endorf, Germany

“The staffs are very friendly but unfortunately the showers are horrible. Warm water costs 0.50€ and takes 2-3 minutes. After 2-3 minutes, not even cold water comes out and the water stops completely. It doesn't even show how many minutes are left. If you're not in a hurry or don't bring a lot of coins, you'll be left alone without water, covered in soap. We were supposed to stay for a few more days, but decided to leave after having a shower.”

Campingplatz An Der Altmühl Naturama Beilngries Mit Bayerns 1. Faßhotel
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

An d. Altmühl 24, 92339 Beilngries, Germany

“Went there for an overnight during Corona season. Although it has nicer facilities than many campgrounds, and the grounds are well maintained, I found it challenging to go there for the first time, as the reception desk was closed. Not only it closed, but there was no telephone service. When one called the phone number, there was no answer, only a recorded message. The only way to get through was with email. Luckily, they did reply to me quite quickly. Everything (like check-in, ordering bread/breakfast, booking a boat tour) is done through an ATM style machine. I was not aware before hands that the tent places were free choice, especially when the machine tells you that you have a tent place number. I also usually borrow the power adapter from the reception, and this was not possible because the reception desk was closed. I had to rush to a Baumarkt to buy one.”

Campingpark Oberammergau
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Ettaler Str. 56B, 82487 Oberammergau, Germany

“Well organized camping site. Electricity a bit steep priced 95 cent/kWh. Breathtaking view. Recommend to book up front due to the Passion show. Lots of tourist but you can have a great time riding bikes to the Ludwig's castle (14 km away). There is room for everyone and the guest and employees are in a good mood. Yes I would definitely come again. Oberammergau is really small but a great spot for recreational activities. Walks, hiking, mountain climbing, paragliding, sail plane flying, horse back riding, skiing and biking. They have a public swimming pool as well. Internet is also available. Clean shower rooms an toilets. The pitches are on gravel which is very good. There is a main road (B23) which sometimes is a bit loud due to the motorcyclist. It can be ignored if you have a good chat with your friendly neighbors. That's all folks.”

Camping Waldsee
4.1
( 8 reviews )

Badstraße 37, 91154 Roth, Germany

“The campsite itself is very nice, in particular the people on site, who were absolutely lovely. The restaurant just off site was great, in particular the owner who was just wonderful! She made me and my family feel very welcome....I would recommend the hazelnut schnapps 😁 On site, the lake is dirty and it seems questionable as to whether it can be used for children and adults. My biggest gripe is a member of the reception staff who was particularly rude and arrogant. Not only was she rude when we arrived to site, but was aggressive towards me with regards to a 'rule' that I had not followed (not purposefully). She then stated that should I do anything else, my family and I would be have to leave site. I tried to explain, however she would not let me and persisted on shouting. Very disappointed in the flagrant disregard to customer care, rudeness and abrupt behaviour from when we arrived. We shall not visit again.”

Campingplatz Kesselberg

Altjoch 2 ½, 82431 Kochel am See, Germany

“Very nice place for the camping. Only to recommend. We will definitely come back.”

Seehäusl Campingplatz
4
( 8 reviews )

Beim Seehäusl 1, 83339 Chieming, Germany

“Very nice camping and the location is stunning! Friendly and helpful staff. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because there is quite a parking problem and guests/new visitors go against the driving direction causing annoying and unnecessary situations. I know there is a sign in the beginning but maybe it can be made more clear somehow. Anyway, we are happy to come back some day.”

Azur Camping Altmühltal

Campingstraße 1, 85110 Kipfenberg, Germany

“+ very good location. some minutes walking distance to boat renting and starting point. also very close to big supermarkets and restaurant + clean sanitary facilities + electricity and water are easily accessible Negetive points: - Their online picture of "campingplatz nearby river" is a bit ambiguous. Actually, there is a walking path and two rows of bushes between river and the pitches, so that "campingplatz nearby river" is really not so close to river as they show on their website. I think this should be clearly clarified in their advertisement in the future. - This camping place is quite long from the entrance tiill the end and there is only one sanitery building at the entrance. This means that you might need some minutes of walking if you live at the end of the camping site. This is not so convenient. - I am surprised that shower room is closed after 10pm. Many people have to brush their teeth outside sanitery building at night, which I found it funny. I think there are quite some distances between the sanitery building and camping pitches, so I am just wondering how noisy the shower can be?? And where do we brush our teeth after 10pm? Meanwhile, there are neighnbor pitches having party after 10 pm, so I dont understand how shower can be more noisy than loud music. - The price is higher than average. For this price that we paid, I would expect something better than this. In summary: consideirng the price as well as the service, I would only give it 3 stars. By ignoring the price factor, I would give it 3.7 stars.”
