Lovely shady riverside path for exercising dogs. Out of high season, pool is closed and bread and croissants available from the local tabac a short walk away. The town is characterful and typical, and the view across the river from the site is absolutely stunning. All local shops, restaurants and bars within 10 mins walking distance, as well as a small Carrefour.”

“A great campsite! Loved its location in the trees, a 10 min walk over sand dunes to the beach and right next to the cycle paths into the nearby town. A pleasant 15-20min cycle along cycle paths to St Gilles Croix de Vie which is a lovely harbour town. The facilities were superb - showers, toilets, bar and snack bar were all very modern and nicely decorated. There was an outdoor and indoor pool which were clean and well maintained. My kids loved the football pitch and table tennis. The evening entertainment was fun and all staff were really friendly and helpful. Pitches not huge but big enough, lovely to be in the trees. Would recommend and visit again.”

“First impressions were very good. Reception was friendly and our pitch was large and shaded. The facilities were clean although not quite enough showers. We had a great first night. That all changed the next night though. Our pitch was in area that was all families and for some reason the management decided to put some youths on the pitch next to ours. They were incredibly inconsiderate and noisy until 3am and then again from 7am. The next night was even worse as a group of four girls pitched up opposite us. (The booking rules state no single sex groups). They all went into town and came back at midnight with about ten boys in tow and had a party. Once they'd calmed down our other neighbours came back about 3am and started their usual shouting and swearing. There was a security guard on the gate but he had no interest in maintaining the peace. The rules state silence after 11pm. No chance. The next night was just as bad. The management are more interested in cramming as many people on as possible and do not care at all about the the comfort of their guests. I would not recommend this site at all.”

The crowning glory thou was the pools.large and warm .The reception staff could not have been more helpful evan using their own minibus to take us to horse riding when we could not get a taxi for 6 people. They also spoke very good English as our French was petit. Thanks for a lovely holiday we would definitely come again.”

“Avoid this camping in summer for sure. 3€ WiFi per device per day Normal spots for tents divided in 2 or 3. Therefore we were two families inside one spot, barely enough place to put two small tents and our table. Then, there is no proper path to go from each spot to toilets or reception. To reach your spot you need to cross several tent spots. No privacy and no space. Also, the toilets and washroom are very very dirty. But if you don’t like privacy and like to share everything with everyone, then it’s the best camping for you. Also, there is a lot of shadow in the camping and the beach is amazing.”
