“Incredible tranquil resort. Grounds are garden-filled and are well beyond meticulously maintained with no details left behind. Camp spots are spacious, immaculate, and placed a nice distance from your neighbors with sweet flowers and tree filled gardens between. Facilities are absolutely spotless and so beautiful!!! These folks designed this place well and it shows. You can definitely tell there was a tremendous amount of thought and effort into their business and park. Employees are plenty and seem to enjoy their work. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but every speck is well worth it. If you are looking for a loud, empty-beer-can scattered place, pickups that can hold watermelons in their tailpipes and ATV’s roaring through your campsite…. this isn’t your spot. Head up the road to Red River, you will find what you are looking for. Here… you can hear a pin drop.”

“Great view, wonderful location. Sites are fairly level. No laundry or propane. Showers and bathrooms are clean and heated. Store is nice and staff is friendly. Easy to enter and exit. This was our second visit to this location and we would be willing to return again. Hope they can complete the renovations on the laundry room. The views from this KOA make this an amazing must stop.”

“We live locally and just wanted a quick overnight getaway so we thought we’d check out the Bernalillo KOA. It is in a safe area and the sites are well-maintained. We had site p-18 which had a nice turf patio and was an easy pull-through spot that was completely level so we didn’t have to disconnect or use leveling blocks for the night which was nice! The bathrooms are extremely well-maintained and clean, with plenty of hot water, a baby changing station, and a separate baby-wash sink. There are 2 nice dog parks on site, a pool that runs may-October, and a great kids playground. Overall compared to other local options, we give this KOA 5 stars. It also has a walking trail connecting to next door Cactus Brewery.”

“I've traveled across the country and I always stay at KOA. This is a comparatively small location compared to most, but what they lack in spaces and amenities, they make up for in quality and friendliness! This was by far the cleanest, friendliest KOA I've stayed in. I was only there one night, and I stayed in a Cabin, as I always do. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Marvin, the location cat, and the best concierge! I was early for check in, and the office was closed so I headed into Santa Fe (a short and easy 20 minute drive away). When I came back for check in I was greeted warmly, and given a rundown of where everything was, along with a kind offer to move to a cabin that was closer to the bathrooms. I declined, just because I really liked the decor in the cabin I selected (music themed, very cute!). The facilities are very clean and ready for use and the staff makes you feel like more than just a guest. They recommended places to eat, with follow up descriptions of their favorite things to eat there, I can definitely back their recommendations of Cafe Fina and Harry's Roadhouse! I only stayed one night, but I will definitely return next time I'm looking to stay near Santa Fe!”

“Excellent customer service at this roomy rv campground! From check in to check out we were treated kindly and respectfully. The owners are delightful and could not have been more pleasant. They even helped us troubleshoot when we couldn’t get the cable to work!! Souvenirs and some camper supplies in the office. Sites are well maintained and very clean. Laundry is spacious and machines are very clean. While you can use coins they also use ClearToken so you can pay with your phone. Very convenient! There are several off lead dog areas, too. Right on the highway so some road noise but not really bad. Close to Carlsbad Caverns and other local sites. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Fantastic campground. I have a huge rig and they have great pull through a to accommodate. Water and electric in every site. Many have 50amp. This place is well maintained and clean. Management really cares. Each site has a nice little covered patio area and fire pit with a grill. Rates are more affordable than all other campgrounds in the area. Only down side is no sewer but they have a free dump station close by so not much of a hassle. Very private and safe. Close to Walmart and Home Depot.”
