“Lovely place. Friendly staff. You are shown right to your pitch. Mats are provided to stop you sinking in the sand. Pitches are clearly delineated and have shade. Facilities were all clean. Hot and cold water available for laundry and washing up sinks. Showers were lovely. Plenty of hot water and room to keep your clothes dry. A shirt walk to the beach and town. Swimming pool was such a bonus. It was gorgeous. Restaurant and bar was really good value. Every member of staff was so friendly. We will definitely return.”

“Really nice camping directly at the beach. Good places for tent and caravan, although you might need some help with the latter as the roads in the camping are a bit narrow - but they gladly help you with that. We went there in May, and at that time it was quiet and very clean. Sanitary was very well cleaned every day. There is a nice restaurant directly at the camping and the village is just 2 minutes walking away.”

“The campsite is next to the beach. We were Bikepacking and found the lack of shelter or a bench very inconvenient. There is a tiny bar next to the beach but it closes at 7pm. It was crowded with camper vans. Bathrooms are clean, water is hot, power outlets in the washroom, washing machine and dryer available. Staff is nice.”

“We had a large pitch close to the pool (nr12). There was a lot of shade on our spot. The campsite was quiet, but we were daily bothered by the campsite next to us, a Yelloh Village campsite, until 23h00. Fun evenings were organized a few times a week. The highlight was the foam party (more than 1m high). It is a pity that it is difficult to find a place on the terrace, if something was organized. The pool was lovely and very well looked after. There were enough beds (in high season). The floor hurt to walk on because it was too rough. Unfortunately, the pool closed at 19:30. Way too early for high season. The campsite consists mainly of French people, a few Germans and 5% Dutch. Nice friendships developed among the Dutch youth. The toilets I believe are from the 1970's. There is no toilet paper available, and unfortunately no holder on which to hang my own paper. Fortunately there was a toilet seat, (because without a toilet seat I find it really dirty). Urinals were outside and showers were mixed. You can walk to Vias Plage from the campsite and the nice beach is a 4-minute walk (from the side gate). Unfortunately, rocks have been placed in the sea, which gave you the idea of being in a bay. Perhaps they could have poured concrete over it, so that you can walk on it properly. Perhaps we will come back to this nice campsite.”

“We had a lovely stay. 3* seems a little low but it wasn’t a 4* for us. It’s a little tired, pools too small for capacity of site, great laundry, great location next the beach but just needs a touch more love in the right places. We would rebook, it’s a great option.”

“A nice 4 night stay This campsite is in a great location, close to the beach and village. The new shower block near to our pitch was definitely one of the better ones we have encountered. Expect to be disturbed by the dustbin men early in the morning, but it does mean village is clean. A good stay, but pitches are quite small.”

“Finish the canal du midi and decided to spend a few days here as a cyclist. You’re able to select your own site. We found a lovely private one in a corner . The toilets are clean and the swimming pool is clean and perfect! You don’t need to bring food. There is the supermarket connected right to the camp and lots and lots of restaurants nearby. To place felt incredibly safe, and it was the first time I didn’t lock my bike. The people staying here were amazing- invited to eat with others nice friendly camp.”

“Had a very nice holiday! Campsite close to the beach. Simple but pleasant swimming pool. There is currently construction work going on next to the campsite, which causes limited inconvenience. The campsite has many trees which provide pleasant shade. The campsite has sufficient facilities, but it is a pity that you have to walk around the campsite to the bakery/shop as these are actually next to the swimming pool. Very satisfied with the mobile home with all its facilities. Wi-Fi is quite alright. We were even able to follow a webinar from the mobile home. Only during peak moments it tends to stutter.”

“So much fun. The pool area is beautiful, as is the bar, restaurant and take away. The entertainment is fun.. even though there was a language barrier we felt excluded and really enjoyed. We even managed to win some cocktails in a movie quiz! The staff are amazing!! They even managed to set up a TV inside the bar for us to watch the Wales rugby game, and joined us and celebrated the win. It's super safe, clean, comfortable and ideally located a short walk from the beach and the strip. Would highly recommend!!”

“Just finished 6 nights at this campsite in our caravan. The location is absolutely stunning and I really loved the concept the campsite was trying to create but unfortunately our time was totally spoilt by the restaurant. We have never received such awful treatment - we dined there on our last night. There was one very kind and friendly waitress (to the owners: she had short hair and glasses) but the others treated us terribly. Our main waitress couldn’t even stand still to take our order and was very rude. We honestly felt it was due to us not being French - even when we attempted to speak French (we are English) she was very abrupt with us and didn’t take a moment to listen. It completely ruined our time there and we would not return. They messed our order up several times and ignored us the rest of the time. Please understand, this was not a cultural difference or misunderstanding: she was being rude on purpose. I think the owners need to be a bit more present in this part of their business and give their staff the training they need. Such a shame. The location is stunning and the river is a wonderful place to be. The showers could do with some attention for a 4 star campsite: they only stay on for a moment which is quite difficult when you are trying to wash yourself and (in my case) our two toddlers. However I could get passed that if the staff were friendly.”

“It's not that expensive for a resort location, staff were attentive and seem to be working through lunchtime, which I appreciate so I could check in early. Bathrooms super clean. Still it's a very busy tourist resort place. It would be nice if there were a dedicated place, like I've seen other campgrounds that have lockers with electrical outlets in them for a couple of euros, for bike tourists to charge phone batteries overnight, rather than having to use reception (can't leave early) or the library or bathroom (possibility of theft, or, as happened to me here, someone just randomly unplugs your battery).”

“Such a good spot - 10 minute walk to the line 3 Tram at EcoPôle station (take a torch if you come back after dark as there are no street lights or pavement) - 15 minutes on the tram and you’re in Montpellier centre at Gare St Roche. Very clean site, big spaces, plenty of shade from trees, good toilets and showers and a really nice pool area. The man who met us was efficient and friendly € 2 a day for wifi -”
