“A lovely campground with lots of different types of dwellings to rent. We stayed in 3 different ones, including the treehouse that was really cool. Many activities for kids to enjoy, nice and safe. It was crowded in August but the guests were very respectful of each other and we met nice people. I would definitely recommend.”

“Was hoping for a peaceful campsite in a National park. Music blaring from the bar area did not make for a peaceful atmosphere. Unsupervised children making an awful mess in the bathrooms near the ‘lake’ by filling up buckets of dirt and using the sink to fill with water. Showers not particularly clean either. Disappointed as had hopes of a good campsite from the website description and some other reviews.”

“Short story; When the reception is closed there is no mercy. No late check-ins. No paying upon departure next day. Not even if you arrive with bikes and alternative accommodations is quite a ways away. We arrived late (past reception opening times) after a long bike ride. The camping seemed well protected and had a poster threatening with fines and legal action against persons not checked in entering the camping grounds. The guests passing by us as we assessed the situation seemed to avoid us and any questions about the campsite - they almost seemed afraid. We heard some sounds from the reception area and knocked on the door, a few moments later the receptionist came out. We thought we’d been really lucky and could inform her that we’d like to stay the night and pay the next day. We couldn’t have been more wrong. She proceeded to yell at us, while the man that accompanies her barely looked at us and appeared to swear at us in french. We were told that there was no chance to get in and that it wasn’t her problem. Then she proceeded to tell us to camp in the woods or something before getting in the car with her “friend” and leaving “aggressively”. We could but laugh and ended up biking another 25 kilometers in the dark to the Holiday Inn Express Karlsruhe (which we can recommend).”

“Loved this campsite. We were stranded for 4 days because camoervam broke down. The staff were fantastic. The facilities were good. The pool lovely. We were on pitch B14. More sheltered than others but great because it was so hot. Unplanned stay but we were happy to be here. Will stay again.”

“Such a nice mountain view and the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Nice hiking options around with a waterfall view. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The chalé is comfortable, warm and clean. Highly recommend for a group of friends which looking for a camping experience (but not in a tent)”
