Camp Dakota

Closed until 02:00 PM

1843 Crooked Finger Rd NE, Scotts Mills, OR 97375, United States

“My zip line tour experience at Camp Dakota was a true blast and a half! I haven’t been on a zip line in at least ten years… I was terrified my first time, and less terrified this time but certainly nervous. Fortunately, between my tour guides and all the gear/equipment, I knew I was so safe and supported the whole time. My guides made me feel super comfortable with their thoughtfulness, communication, knowledge, good spirits, and playful humor. In their own delightful and quirky ways, Youngblood, Zen and Kiwi were all such a pleasure to interact with. One would be lucky to have any of them as a guide, and Camp Dakota itself was a really cool, dare I say magical, environment. Seeing it from way up in the trees was such a treat! I will certainly be back for more adventures at Camp Dakota. Wish I could leave more than a five star review. Thanks, gang! See you next time. Stay stellar. ⋆✩°。⋆*⋆。°✩⋆ ;) <3 ;) <3”

Breitenbush Hot Springs Retreat And Conference Center

53000 Breitenbush Rd SE, Detroit, OR 97342, United States

“This place is like another world — an immersive combination of off-grid natural beauty, ethics and intentionality that I’ve never seen elsewhere. The food is consistently top notch. The hot springs are well maintained and there is an amazing variety of ways to soak & experience them. I stayed in the Milky Way, the converted semi truck which is the cheapest way to visit overnight, and it’s tiny and rustic (I loved it), but in case that deters you, do NOT think that all you’re paying for here is the lodging space — it’s the grounds, the springs, the food, the ethos, the opportunities for spiritual centering if that’s your interest, the optional talks and classes, and the unparalleled welcome. Perfect place to do a self-directed writing or spiritual retreat. They are also very trans friendly in proactive ways. One of the most body-positive spaces I can think of.”

“Bay Point Landing truly exceeded our expectations for RV camping. After discovering the lack of cell service at another nearby location, we stumbled upon this gem. The staff here were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, even finding a spot for us on short notice. Navigating our 25’ Roo onto the flat gravel pads was a breeze, thanks to clear instructions. The amenities here are top-notch, including a full-size pool, well-maintained gender-specific bathrooms, and an inviting outdoor play area. Plus, the breathtaking waterfront views added an extra layer of tranquility to our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bay Point Landing to anyone, whether it's family, friends, or even strangers! It's a place that genuinely delivers comfort, convenience, and hospitality. We'll be returning for another memorable stay”

“ATTENTION DOG OWNERS: My family and dog made reservations to stay in a log cabin for the annular eclipse that was moving through Oregon on October 14th. We checked into the cabin and received numerous emails about how dog friendly the resort was. When we checked in, my dog started smelling around the room and grabbed something from under one of the bed benches. It was dark in the cabin as only a small lamp was provided (which we were aware of), however, when we grabbed the item from my dog, we noticed that is was a mouse trap that said “do not touch”. I noticed a blue/green powder on the trap and quickly went to the front desk to check in about the substance. The woman at the front desk checked in with the house keeping crew and confirmed that there was rat poison inside of the trap. The emergency vet visit for my dog as well as numerous testings to check his blood levels has resulted in fees over $900 and I have yet to hear back from the owners or management of the resort. I would suggest not bringing your dog here as I do not trust the integrity of the resort as this was never disclosed in any of the waivers that are signed.”

Summer Lake Hot Springs

41777 Oregon 31 Mile Marker, 92, Paisley, OR 97640, United States

“I've been here a few times and I have to say that the water is magical. It differs from other hot springs, in my opinion. There is an earthy, healing vibe here. From first glance, the grounds look unkempt, but just look past it. They are slowly making improvements. The pool is located inside a 1920s pool house. The caretakers keep it true to its time period. So if it's pouring down rain, you may get a few drops on you inside the pool house. Think of it as refreshing, while you enjoy the sound of the rain on the tin roof. There are more soaking pools on the outside of the pool house. They vary in temp and are kept very clean. The pool house has dressing stalls, bathrooms, and showers. After a designated time each evening, the pool and tubs are clothing optional. There is lodging and dry camping available. Soaking is limited to overnight guests only. If you are lucky enough to rent the ranch house, you have access to a private soaking grotto located in the back of the house. Mosquitoes can be heavy at times due to the nearby wetlands. If you are a bird watcher or rock hound, you are in luck. This is a migration bird area, and you can hike out onto the salt flats where rocks can be found. Call ahead as the pool gets closed down for maintenance periodically and during the winter months.”

Happy Camp Hideaway

825 Happy Camp Rd, Tillamook, OR 97141, United States

“We stayed in Kings hideaway and it was definitely built for a king. This house has absolutely everything and is fancy to boot. It's not so fancy that you can't relax though. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable. We had so much fun that we don't want to go home. We will definitely be back soon.”

“Clean park, all full hook ups. We felt safe here with our family. Bigger laundry room and updated showers. It is a busy park so you may need to drive around to find a site. We only used the playground / pool once but it was nice. I like that they used text to communicate events etc. And most of the rangers were friendly and happy. Enjoyed our stay here, thanks Seaside!”

Resort At Lake Selmac

2700 Lakeshore Dr, Selma, OR 97538, United States

“We had an amazing stay at the resort camp ground. The sites are well spaced and neat. The bathrooms and shower house were very clean and nice. Vince and Shannon took care of everything we needed. So nice to have a great little store with boat and kayak rentals, and literally feet from the lake. Just a great stay. Couldn't recommend it more.”
