Xiu Fine Cantonese Dining
4.5
( 8 reviews )

115 Connecticut, San Juan, 1502 Metro Manila, Philippines

“It's been a while since I had Chinese food this good!!! The restaurant is well designed - really gives off very sophisticated, elegant vibe, and it is finely matched with attentive service and high quality food! I was a guest for someone's birthday celebration meal. I didn't choose what to order, but what was served, everything was delicious and well done. The "basics" were done right - Yang Chow Fried rice was fluffy (not hard or clumpy). Birthday noodles were exceptional. Peking duck -crispy skin, tender meat, the pancake/wrap was also easy to handle and does not stick to one another. Looking at the menu, the food looks pricey, it may be best to dine here to celebrate a special occassion or just enjoy company of family and friends. This is Chinese (Cantonese) food done right. Definitely one of the top Chinese restos on my list now.”

“Highly recommended. They were able to accomodate the challenging food restrictions of our companion. Everything we ordered (including the dishes accomodating the allergy issue) is highly recommended. See pictures.”

Jasmine Restaurant

Esperanza Street, corner Makati Ave, Ayala Center, Makati, 1228 Metro Manila, Philippines

“we probably caught the kitchen’s “B” day. dimsum buffet, 4 pax. 1st bowl of Fried Rice was good, 2nd was dry. Xiao Long Bow were mediocre. Pork buns, siomai, soup, pork puff, custard bun, mango sago & the rest were ok. only 1 of 2 orders of chicken feet landed on the table, we cancelled the 2nd along with seafood taro puff that never came 1 hour later…the staff are friendly & attentive. we were charged for 6 pax initially instead of 4 (seated on a table for 6)…hopefully, their A game is on when we return, Jasmine’s, when it’s “on” , can be really good…not today, we we’re better off having dimsum at Tim Ho Wan , King’s Chef or Din Tai Fung : (”
