“Booked two rooms, one Earth and another is Sky. My goodness! At this rate, this is amazing! Room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. Quiet, relaxing ambience. They have mood lamps that you can adjust, and sleep meditation music. Quiet Hours at 9PM - 7AM. Common room where you can eat and talk with fellow travelers.. Receptionist is kind, helpful.. Mineral water is free so you can refill your bottle anytime both inside or outside the pods area. Showers are clean. Hot water running well. Nearby, you can find many cafe or places where you can eat. But they have ready to eat food in the receptionist. Will surely stay there again if I come back to Semarang next time for another adventure..!”

“Unique and Fun! I had a great experience staying in this capsule hotel. They provide a locker to keep your belongings. Though the bathroom and toilet are shared. The cleanliness is worth thumbs up. The receptionists are so informative, responsive and friendly. The breakfast was just so so. Enough to fill your stomach not to get hungry haha. They have mixed room and female only room. So it's pretty convenient for female travelers who don't want to have interaction with males for the toilet or bathroom. But unfortunately, whenever somebody gets in or out, or even just make a movement, the noise will kind of bothering your sleep. Because it's not soundproof. Talking about the price. For normal days, the price per capsule is pretty cheap with the services we will get. But high season .. Everybody knows everything in the tourism place will be more expensive during the holidays.”

“I stayed in a deluxe room with my wife. We chose the deluxe room because that's the only room that has a bath tub. Unfortunately the bath tub water is dirty and not hot enough. And there's no convenience store near this hotel, you must walk about 1 or 2km just to find some "warung rokok". There's a dark dead business center near the hotel, so the view is kinda creepy. And the small refrigerator is not cold at all.”

“When you search for hotel near the airport this would show as 2kms away since it counted the border of the airport to this place but in actual it’s 5kms away from the terminal itself so it’s not walkable if you have a big backpack. Also, it did not mentioned that you have to download an app before you can check in. I arrived late and I still have to download and register in their app, it was annoying who just arrived from a long journey. But the place is immaculately clean although the shower is at the 3rd floor only. Take note also that you have to leave your shoes at the lobby, they have locker.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE There are things I cannot compromise on: - Good service is only provided by the lady at the front office. Others seem to have no intention of working - The roads are not accessible for all cars. It can only be passed by big cars such as SUV, 4WD, etc. For you who using a city car, they directed to park in the space they provided, and they facilitated a shuttle car to go down. Everything fine until i found out, THE FREE SHUTTLE CAR IS ONLY FOR CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT. If I want to go out, I have to pay 200k rupiah for one time up and down (not per day). The most annoying thing is: i was not informed before. In fact, I found out because when I checked-in there was a woman who wanted to use shuttle car to the upper parking lot to get her items she had left behind. And i heard about the 200k for the shuttle car topics. - The parking lot is chaos. The cars were piled up, no one was there. I have to wait for the staff below (at the hotel) to go up and move the car. This took about 30-40 minutes. * For people who stay here to find peace and quiet, hopefully you won't meet any other groups with kids. For Black Lava management, maybe you should start thinking about making the rooms soundproof. My advice: think twice before you book a room in here.”

“Let's discuss the pluses and minuses. Plus, it's cheap + there's a prayer room. The downside is that there are quite a lot of shortcomings, such as the lift which is no longer working, the room key which is also not working, the sandals which are not explained where they are and are scattered under the capsule, because sandals are needed if you want to go to the bathroom which is on a different floor (1st floor women, men 2nd Floor). And when I was in the lobby I smelled a bad smell. Maybe in the future this minus can be corrected, it's a shame because this hotel is very strategically located.”
