“Great value for it's price. Pods are spacious and modern with plenty of power sockets. Mine came with a projector screen which is easy enough to setup and use. Good location in town, walking distance to the river, shops, and subway stations. Only downside would be the curtain that isn't really sound proof. If you're a light sleeper be prepared to be awakened by other guests entering and leaving their pods. Met some friendly people here too, definitely a younger vibe with the occupants.”

“This male only place is a must if you are a group of friends traveling in Kyoto. Not only do you get a genuine capsule hotel experience, as most guests are Japanese, but there is also a sauna / spa, that I highly recommend. You will get an official pajama when you check in, and there are all the amenities and products - from shaving foam, razors, even toothbrushes with toothpaste, to hair gel, basically everything you need for personally hygiene. Then there is the location. Situated close to Nishiki market and Goin district, the location is as good as it gets for this budget friendly hotel”

“The room we were assigned had a faulty window which didn't seal properly and meant the air whistled in all day and night. Complained and maintenance agreed that this was a fault but said the hotel was full and all other available rooms we checked had the same fault. Therefore we both slept wearing noise cancelling headphones. The air vents by the window also suck a stream of constant cold air in. We were told we would be contacted about moving for our second night and/or be given a refund for our inconvenience. Neither happened. It's sad that this hotel has a known building fault and that customer service is poor as it is a decent compact, clean hotel otherwise. Breakfast has variety, the hot bath is nice after a day sightseeing and it's fairly convenient to a train station - though a few stops from the central area. However if you value sleeping in a warm and peaceful environment - avoid. The lack of sleep spoiled our trip.”

“This is a medium sized hotel with a view of the sea and Amanohashidate sand bar. The hotel also boasts a French restaurant serving delicious and value for money meals. The staff are super helpful in providing useful local tourist attractions and they even helped me book dinner at a nearly restaurant. They would have gotten 5 stars if not for the fact their onsen is temporarily closed for April to May 2023.”

“Our stay - 22/11 - 28/11/2023 About the check in - when we arrived we couldn't enter using code provided in the confirmation in email. Lucky a staff member let us in. Easy check in, handed over our passports and was given a pin for the room. This hotel is keyless. It was nice not having to worry about a key. Amenities are in the lobby, help yourself basis. No bathrooms on ground floor you need to use the one in your room. About the hotel - Our room was dated, no window but it was in a convenient location not too far from the station and economical. Decent wifi. The bed was on the smaller side for 2. It was firm and we liked it. Small room, but we spent most of the time exploring and only slept there so it was fine. They change the sheets and collect the rubbish every 4th day of your stay unless you put up the DND sign. Facilities - on ground floor is the reception (usually unmanned), a small room with a few coin operated washing machine/ dryer combos, filtered water & a microwave. There is a separate smoke room next door. What's nearby - lots of resturants and convenience stores in close proximity as well and vending machines on the street. Check out - self check out go to reception and enter your information. We were able to lock our luggage near reception upon check out. They provide bike locks with locks. First come, first serve basis. The hotel doesn't take responsibility for loss/ damage. Our luggage was still there when we returned. We enjoyed our time here.”
