“Located near the Hakata Station which can be a great convenience. It takes about just 10 mins walk from the hotel to the station. The lobby is located at level 2 where free coffee is provided. I requested for a high level room and they were able to meet it but there is not much view. Do note that noise from the train can be heard in the room but shouldn't be bothering you if you are used to it.”

“Traditional Japanese capsule hotel, handy and clean, and you got everything inside - comics, izakaya, sleeping pods, bathing hall, massage service. For first timers, I am 6 foot 2, the sleeping pod was totally fine for me, it is not as claustrophobic as you imagine. And indeed u don't get into the pod until you want to sleep, before sleep just chill in different areas. And there is a TV inside the pod.”

“Had a good week-long stay! I enjoyed the immaculate room, fast WiFi, and helpful front desk. Fellow guests were also respectful in common spaces / during quiet hours. There are two structural components that would prevent me from booking with this WeBase again, namely (a) extremely thin walls — for reference, I was able to hear folks using the sink in a room that was a 1-2 doors away from the restroom area, so your experience may be dependent on the politeness of your neighbors (b) showers being on a separate floor. These are understandable parts of a low-priced hostel, though second other reviewers who mention there are similarly-priced accommodations with better soundproofing and shower access. That being said, if you’re looking for an affordable, no-frills place, this WeBase is a good option!”

“I was actually pretty excited to try this capsule hotel, but it wasn't as good as some of the other ones I've been to. The amenities are basic and the big bath is nothing too special. All in all, everything was fine, clean, and the staff were helpful. The location is about 10 minutes away from Tenjin Station as well so there is a bit of a walk.”

“Very smart design, even though this is a hostel, customers almost have a private space. Spotless, a good location: near the main station (Hakata) and some amazing traditional Japanese temples, next to a big shopping mall...and the most satisfying point of mine is the kind and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again when revisit Fukuoka”
