“The room was comfortable but unlike proper 4 star, there are no coffee makers. The sofas in the room was out of place and worn. We found the room had ample space and sufficient hangers in the wardrobe and safe. Has a fridge which didn't disturb us. Nice balcony. Seems clean and the pool looks well presented. Staff friendly except when they're telling guests off, yes, the Italian temperament, they can lose their manners. The food is frankly terrible, pasta sauces made with no care so taste bland, why bother serving pasta that you don't want to cook properly. Lack of choice, had fish just once, seems that you should just eat antipasti. No soft drinks with meals at dinner, strange. No signage with the drink taps available hence why I witnessed someone being scolded. Close to the marina and a lovely walk along but only a few shops, restaurants and a supermarket.”

“WARNING TRAVELERS-DANGEROUS!!! Unacceptable to drive 20 minutes to room from reception desk. This place is endangering travelers on more than one level. Staff did not care that rooms were not ready for hours after 3pm arrivals. I witnessed several couples having to walk around the “questionable” neighborhood waiting for the keys to their room. I was not even given the address of my room before being told I could take the bus, metro or taxi. To quote the staff “Head towards Rome, it’s only a few stops on the metro”. After being continuously dropped from getting a taxi, I was given a hard time for wanting to wait for a ride in their office instead of outside surrounded by a bar scene with eyeing men. I was appalled that I had to tell them I did not feel safe for them to let me stay inside. I waited so long it was dark and the plaza was going to be closing. The police doing laps in the plaza did not make me feel better about the neighborhood I was about to be stranded in. I can’t express how disturbing it was that the staff just did not seem to care at all about how any of us clients were feeling about having to “find our rooms” 20 minutes away. Very dangerous!!!”
