“Having a roof rack means my automated car wash options are very limited. I was in Modesto on other business and Googled Mapped my way to TipTop Express Car Wash. As I sat in my car, the attendant took my card and selected and paid for the $15.00 car wash that I chose. He then handed me a drying cloth, dashboard wiping cloth, and a new car smell air freshener. The attendant also performed a pre-wash/scrub of my front window, side mirrors, and grill. After the express automated car wash and dry was complete (about 5 minutes, I think), the attendant hand dried my windows -- as he talked on his cell phone. The 80°+ weather very quickly took care of the rest. This car wash was not the best, but it was better than nothing. And again, it was quick!”

“This play should be reported to Better Business Bureau and investigated continuously until they are no longer in business I mean 50 years, family business enough is enough with the unhealthy, mentally ill, and well funded people that think they are mechanics, mechanically inclined and whatever else they have going on at this AAA Certified Repair facility. I was charged $450 for them to tell me that they'll investigate a coolant leak and failure to pass smog on 1994 Mercedes Benz S420 with only 102k. I came in there wanting an estimate for how much it will cost to fix whatever the problem was, I even provided smog test reports and the evidence of the obvious coolant leak. I told them that I was really not feeling well, I live pretty far away and it's a bit much for one day to deal with and they looked very very busy there. The car was towed into the back lot and I waited about 15-30 minutes talking to the young lady at the front desk and the mechanic there providing them both as much detailed information as possible. I was told I'll get an estimate and that on Saturday or Monday the car will be ready for me to pick up. This was on Friday the 8th of September 2023. Shortly after I left and was walking to the bus stop I received an email from them they did say they were going to send one. I did not approve any work and they started working on the car, well that's what Eric called it on Saturday evening after declining to release it to the same tow company that towed it in. On Friday I was told that I'll be getting a text on Saturday morning, I did not receive one call from this place or text like I was told, just emails demanding more and more money. Eric told me that the technician spent hours working on the car on Saturday morning. They literally forced me to pay this money and damaged few things on the vehicle both interior, exterior who knows what else. The car has to be sold now and it was a simple transfer of ownership process. And I was on the way there to do smog yet again after failing twice because the guy does not know about Mercedes Benz and drives the vehicles with the doors open on and off the Dyno, at the place where I tried to smog twice and it's obviously a smog only place, but that's another story and review. Get a diagnostic of the problem and hopefully fix it, if it's inexpensive. After what Gustafson Brothers Automotive called investigative work which I did not approve, they provided me yet another estimate, this time for almost $3000 which included parts that were recently replaced according to the previous owner that I'm still in contact with who is looking for supporting documents. I mean he had Mercedes Benz hoses on it that they're saying were original when they were just recently replaced, very hard to find parts. I've told not just the front desk young lady who has hard time communicating, concentrating, just working in general but also the technician Sean Leahy who I told numerous times that I need an estimate to how much it's going to cost look into the coolant leak that I developed without the car getting Hot, on Highway 1 after I pulled over less than 10 minutes driving from this place and failure to pass smog and I just left from USC Smog Test. Eric, the front desk lady whoever else just refused to release the vehicle unless I paid them. I mean I still feel like this mentally ill family business is still here threatening, harassing forcing me to give them money, talking about something they have no business doing, at my home, wow and it's Wednesday morning the 13th of September 2023. Please stay away from this place because I know I will. Who in their right mind will pay someone $450 for simple diagnostics I've never seen an estimate this high for diagnostics. Here it's called investigation, smog failure investigation over $300 just for that. Good luck there all Take care ok”

They take at least half an hour vacuuming, washing, rinsing, and drying everything by hand, with meticulous attention to detail. Spending $70 for a car wash ($60 plus a 15% tip) may sound outrageous, but I don’t mind paying a premium price for high quality service, especially when I know that the work is fully guaranteed. Pacific Hand Car Wash is a small, independent businesses, owned and operated by the Tang family. You’ll usually find Kevin Tang behind the register at the Campbell location (the other is in San Jose). His black-and-white cat can sometimes be coaxed to sit on your lap which makes the long wait a bit more tolerable. Ditto for the talking parrot. I highly recommend Pacific Hand Car Wash!”

“Used to really love this carwash. It has definitely gone downhill. The greeter was very nice. The kid at the tunnel couldn't have been less enthused. I paid $20 to include the 'ceramic coat' and the air-freshener & micro fiber towel "kit", that used to come for free. I'm assuming I did not, in fact, get the upgraded wash because those light indicators never lit up and some of the wash tunnel brushes stayed off. There were large parts of the car that never even got touched. Honestly, I've had better washes at the gas station. Half of the vacuum hoses I tried (2) had low or no suction. I had to go home and spend 20 minutes cleaning it by hand in the garage. To say this was disappointing would actually be complimentary in this case.”

“Never again. Got the $60 package and my Tesla was returned to me with milk spots and drink spills left inside, an un-vacuumed trunk, and leftover mess everywhere. Even the outside of the car still had lots of visible dirt. the only thing the guy would do is vacuum the trunk. I paid extra for this? I showed the guy how rubbing some of the interior dirt/milk spots with spit on my finger would remove it, to show that they hadn’t even wiped it down, but he started literally YELLING at me to go and that I would have to buy a $700 detailed package if I wanted the interior cleaned. Seriously? I wish my husband was with me. Absolutely unbelievable for him to treat me like garbage. Attaching pics. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a car wash in my life.”

“I went in to purchase a replacement brake light bulb. Roberto assisted me by finding out which bulb then getting it off the shelf for me to buy. He then asked if I was going to put it in? I said no I need to have a mechanic do that for me. He then walked out with me and told me how not to touch the bulb with the fingertips as it shortens the life of the bulb. Something I didn't know. Great info! Then proceeded to take the cover plate off and replace the bulb all the while asking me to step on the brake before he started then again after to make sure it worked. I am so grateful for Roberto's help. He did this all the while with a smile and no complaints!! Kudos my man.. thank you”

“It is one of the best car washes I have used. Car comes clean and you need to vacuum and the rest 10% drying yourself. Even the wheels and tires are cleaned. I have the monthly membership for 5 visits with any cars so that works out cheap for 3 cars but I hardly use it for just one of the car.”
