“Easy going, amiable, customer friendly..however… A+ on stereo install. D- on electronic door lock install Took my truck in here to have the stereo installed and electronic locks & alarms put on it. I’ll give them high props on wiring in the stereo and doing a great job there—especially after Crow turned away my truck saying the stereo wiring was going to be “too difficult”! (Crow is a laughing stock as far as I’m concerned!) However, Jack’s did crack both of my brand new door panels in the process of removing them to install the electronic door-locks. Not only that, but when they pulled the panels they broke over half of the panel clips and they did not bother to replace the clips or to inform me that they had cracked the door panels and broke the clips. This is clearly due to indifference. It is not that difficult to remove door panels with the proper tools. Add to this the fact that my doorhandle failed exactly one day after the electronic lock installs. The rods in the door simply came undone (going from the door handle to the locking plate). I took the truck back and showed them the problem. They took the truck back in for a look and claimed that the rods & clips were nowhere to be found in the door and that I would need to get those rods from a dealer or a wrecking yard, and then bring them back so that they could fix it. So, I went and pulled those rods & clips from a vehicle at a wrecking yard. In fact, I pulled two sets of them so that they could take their pick of what to use. I returned to Jack’s with my vehicle, and although they kept it all day long they stated that they could not fix it afterall! They gave me a story about how something was twisted up or bent inside the door and how probably the truck had been hit really hard on the door at some point in time. I knew this was absolutely false and incorrect information because I have been rebuilding this truck myself—to include bodywork— and there was never any sign of any damage like what they were describing. Which, this false description of damage to rods and all such inside the door panel was what they were using as an excuse to not be able to fix it. Keep in mind that there was no problem with the doorhandles (operationally/functionality) prior to them working on it.. All that to say that they did an awesome job on the stereo, but they failed to honor their work on the door handle aspect. And they never offered me any part of a refund for their failure to properly install the door locks or for tearing up my brand new $500 (each) door panels. In fact, they did such a poor job on the door panel removal that when I took it back for the re-work I had the door panel off and in the back of the truck and asked them to please not touch it. I recognize that they did take it back in to try to fix it, but they still failed to fix their failed work or to honor/reimburse any part of their own mess-up! In the end: I took it to Maaco in Waco and Maaco used all of the same exact parts and fixed it with no problems, fuss or issues! Incredible!”

“Tried this shop out bc it was owned by my friends parents and nothing went as planned. The wrap came out bad and spots were torn or paint stained they didn’t paint what asked to be painted. Paid for a whole new dash from a dealership and didn’t get it all replaced. They kept saying if I wanted it done right it was going to require more money so they added 4k on top of the 5k that had already been paid out of the 8months that they had it my truck runs and looks worst than when it first went in. Parts kept getting delayed and said some were already installed but when I came in to see the progress on my vehicle nothing had been done.Asked for a receipt at the end and they told me that they couldn’t provide a copy to me.”
