“Well, I've been to Dundee loads and how I've missed this I don't know! But I'll 110% be going back, very nice atmosphere and decor, staff were very efficient and the food was some of the best food I've eaten in aaaages!!!! Mega well done Chef, presentation was super, food was delicious! I'd recommend the Spicy Mac n Cheese, sweet potato fries were really good too, it was all good!!”

“Popped into this Jamaican Patty store because I couldn’t resist when walking by. Ordered the spicy been and jerk chicken patty. The crust was so flaky and the filling hit the spot. Perfect amount of spice and flavor and plus it had a lot of filling which I loved. The two ladies were so kind and friendly. It’s a small place to just hop in and get take away.”

“This was a last minute late night stop for us, trying to find somewhere to eat in at around 21:30-21:45 - most places we found finished serving at 21:00 so our options were limited. Foundry 39 serve food until 22:00. The food we had was nice and tasty but the choices were a little limited for someone who needs gluten free. The cocktails we had were nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.”

“What a warm and friendly place this is. Service was exceptional. I arrived at the end of service, enquired if they were still serving, they had begun closing down but took my order and served my food. BLT with chips 🍟 😋 scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed with soft Christmas 🎄 music playing in the background. They were holding a Christmas event for a large group of ladies, all of whom seemed to enjoy themselves.”

“Lovely little place, i was a little aprehensive at first as this is beyond my typical simplistic tastes but the food was delicious (I had jerked pork with rice) and not overly spicy. They have good vegan options too, my sister is vegan and had no trouble finding food and said it was lovely! Our server was very friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience much better and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend you give this place a try if you're looking for something different. They also offer take-away if you want to eat at home!”

“Classy afternoon tea experience with unlimited sandwich and tea refills! Service was phenomenal from the time we first entered the hotel. We were warmly greeted, our coats were taken from us, and we were escorted to our table where they had set up stands for our purses so they wouldn't touch the floor. My friend and I both ordered the red dragon tea, which is delicious and I highly recommend! They started us off with the 4 sandwiches, of which my favorite was the beef sandwich. My friend doesn't eat beef or shellfish and was able to request doubles of the cucumber and avocado sandwiches and refills of this as well. We were able to get several sandwich refills before moving on to the scones and desserts. The cheese scones were not my favorite, but I did enjoy the scones that were served at the tea's conclusion. My favorites were the mission fig compote, coffee and orange delice, and cheesecake to share, which we could barely eat since we were so full. For our second round of teas, I got the organic jade sword and my friend got the peppermint tea. Would not recommend the peppermint since the tea had a lot of tiny tea leaves in it that were too small for the strainer to catch. Overall wonderful experience and highly recommend!”

Granddaughter would have liked pizza but only available for 5 & up. We overstayed our alloted time but staff didn't hussle us to move on, which was really appreciated but it wasn't full so I think we were lucky! Place looked spotlessly clean.”

The size of chicken is big and the price are reasonable. It's fulfilling size meals are freshly made. Post Edit: 19/10/2023 My recent visit to Jamaya to treat myself with the previously yummy experience of their Wings, turned out to be not as good as I did the first time. The wings were not fresh and hard to chew, seemed like reheated leftovers from previous day or something. You can see from the pictures I posted from my first day of trying their wings and to the ones I tried recently. Not happy Alas I won't be going back here again.”

“Absolutely brilliant! We came here after being told how good it is. I had a vegetarian curry which was wonderful. I asked for it to not be spicy and they catered for my request. Both meals were very filling :) there seemed to be some confusion over our reservation, there was a Christmas party on when we arrived and my partner had booked the day before and been very clear about the day/time he was booking. However we got a table in the back room and they put the heater on for us, so it was all fine!”

“I attended cottons for their New Year’s Eve event. The food took forever to arrive! When our starters came, one plate of prawns was served cold and returned back TWICE for the same reason! the manager, seemed to get frustrated with us and when she brought the food out a second time she placed it on the table and said thank you sarcastically. Thank you for what? Our mains were terrible. I ordered the pork belly which was overdone and burnt. The rice came with clumps of burnt rice which had no flavour. My friends salmon was so overcooked. I had a crème brulee for dessert which was a joke. It was more like a panacotta. My five year old could have given a better attempt at the presentation. Big fat joke. As an establishment do better. You wouldn’t be happy receiving a service like this, so don’t get annoyed at us for us being upset with this poor quality of food. I ended the night with Mc Donald’s and I can honestly say it was better than what I ate at cottons. Me and my friends deserve a refund. We didn’t even receive the Prosecco we were supposed to receive at midnight.”

“Very bad customer service, called to complain about not been any meat in the soup and one of the lady response was that she personally added meat when clearly there was not even one piece just bones. The lady i spoke too was very rude with a bad attitude arguing with me and making me feel like a liar, like i have time to be lying about £4 soup kmt after spending £41 in total. The saddest thing was that i over heard her colleagues telling her that she should just say to me that they will give me something next time; it’s so shameful how she reacted they need to get rid of that one lady with attitude before she brings the business down.”
