“Perfect from beginning to end, exactly the type of place I’m looking for when I crave a subtle mix of a both generous and gourmet burger. Portions are huge, fries are delicious, the burger is great. Fried chicken starter was also unexpectedly good, it came with the right amount of bbq sauce, which is a balance quite hard to get. Staff was very nice, we came earlier than the actual opening and they made us welcome. Note that it opens at 7pm and not 6.30 as mentioned.”

We had a real nice woman help us, and she detected we spoke Spanish and changed from French to Spanish. She had lived in Argentina for a couple of years. She didn't have to do that, but it shows how great the service is here. When she wasn't there on the other days we visited, the staff continue to do their best to help us. They even print a ticket with the names of the cheeses you buy. Our favorite was the Alps cheese and the truffle creamy cheese.”

“We wanted to go to L’Arome but did not have a table booked and we rocked up at 9pm, got told pretty rudely that there’s no tables available, so we had to look elsewhere to have dinner. Thankfully we stumbled across Ummagumma, and ended up having a truly lovely meal in a very relaxed atmosphere, having managed to secure a table for 2 outside. The waiter (who probably also owns the place) is a very nice and charismatic person! The food was soooo tasty, everything was full of flavour, I was extremely impressed with the amount of scallops in the Tagliatelle St Jacques, there was no shortage of seafood and taste in that dish! The cheese fondue was amazing as well, the gratinee mussles were delicious! Even the salad was super tasty (in England salad doesn’t taste if anything unfortunately). Excellent food for excellent value. I would truly recommend this place ! Thank you for a lovely meal during our last night in Marseille.”

“We booked a tour (with wine tasting) and a picnic lunch and had an AMAZING experience here!! Our guide was so informative and great with the children, she shared a lot of fun details and facts that set this chateau apart from the others we have visited. We loved the details in this chateau tour, and the wine tasting in the tower (which was once used to house pigeons). Our picnic lunch was outside next to the vines and it was such a surreal experience. The kids ran around while we enjoyed food and wine! I would definitely recommend this tour for others!”

“I first fell in love with the wonderful spirit of Armagnac in 2014 through a bottle of Delord 25 years and have been drinking it ever since. So, a visit to the source was a bucket list experience for me. We were led on an extensive tour of all their facilities. Our guide was very pleasant, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We were shown their “Room of Paradise” where the extra old vintages are kept. We got to meet the owners who were happy to stop their day and leisurely chat and joke with us, later posing for pictures. Then, when we bought a couple nice bottles, we were invited to hand bottling room to watch our bottles as they were hand sealed and stamped. I had looked forward to this opportunity for years and it far exceeded my expectations!”
