He would bring us our drinks without us having to ask, he would check in on us at the perfect time ( what I mean by that is he would look at us before walking over to make sure he wasn’t interrupting a important conversation) he was just amazing all the way around. The food was so good that we ate all of our appetizer and meals (chefs kiss). Overall this atmosphere was very intimate and comfortable. Truly amazing through and through. “Munchies is a local favorite that I was not aware of until I met my wife. The atmosphere here is decent. The salsa is served in metal canisters with a mild and spicy option, and chips are always thin and crispy. The service was great during this visit. They even brought my two year old animal cookies, which was a big hit. The food here reminds me of the older tex mex restaurants that have faded away in recent years. They add their own twist to common dishes, and it doesn't disappoint. Seating can be an issue as it is a smaller establishment. Prices are lower than average, and serving size is generous.”

“This was our 3rd time eating dinner at this restaurant. I was debating on getting the Shrimp Florentine vs. the Shrimp Verona so I asked our waitress her opinion of the two dishes. She said the Shrimp Florentine was the best thing on the menu and she always recommends that when people ask her opinion. I decided to try it and let me tell you, she was absolutely correct!! There was plenty of shrimp and the creamy white marinara sauce was delicious. The serving was more than enough for me to take some home for lunch the next day. Be sure to ask for some of their garlic knots and a cannoli or two to go!”

“We always get it to go so all I can review on is food itself. We always get 2 chickens with rice, beans, and tortillas. The food is decently warm but the chicken could be cooked a bit more. We have gotten sick a few times after eating here and we think its because the chicken is still red and pink slightly. The taste is good and the price as well, so we still get it but now we put the chicken in the oven for an extra 20 min. Comes out perfect 👌🏼”

“We had lunch with a customer here around noon on 12/20. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. The place is very creatively decorated with lots of cartoon art. The staff were kind and helpful. We all ordered the combination platter and chose different sides. I had the mashed potatoes with jalapeño bacon gravy and collard greens. The potatoes were smooth and buttery, and the gravy was outstanding. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The chicken tenders and steak strips were both battered expertly with great flavor and cooked to perfection. Both were juicy and fork tender, and a knife was not necessary. I had the Korean and Nashville sauces to complement my meal. Both were delicious, but not necessary since the meat was so delightful without a sauce! Overall, we enjoyed a delicious meal and had a good time. Fair warning though: it was busy and quite loud during our lunch, so if you are hearing impaired and looking for a place to have a nice conversation over your meal, you might find yourself shouting at each other if you choose to eat here.”

She was one of the only ones with a smile on her face, despite how hectic it was in there. Also, she was the only one I saw cleaning the tables. The rest were pretty rude and arrogant, especially the manager. She doesn't know how to speak politely to her workers and tries to humiliate them in front of customers. Pretty sad. Almost immediately a true gentleman (we later just had to ask for his name) William, greeted us with the best courtesy and respect we have ever had at any restaurant. 5* restaurants have not even been close to the bar that William has set for the levels of customer service.
