“We attended Avling restaurant yesterday for dinner and drinks and this place is beyond cool. They grow their own vegetables, spices etc. on the roof and they brew their own drinks in the back brewing area , which were all amazing. The food was incredible. The staff goes all out to make you feel at home. Trish and Sam always had a smile and were very welcoming. Amazing experience I would recommend for everyone to go. Thank you for an amazing evening.”

“Located across from Wellesley Station, Dakgogi is a great spot for a fun and lively time for food. The service was excellent, and the menu was well-organized. The dark ambiance added to the pub-like atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant requires walking upstairs to the second floor. Worth the visit! We had a variety of dishes, including Soy Garlic Chicken, Regular Fried Chicken, Dduk-bokki (Spicy Rice Cake) with additional Seaweed Rolls, and Bulgogi Fries. Both choices of chicken were really good and well-fried! The Bulgogi Fries came with Bulgogi beef on fries, topped with Fried Egg with sauce. The complimentary side of pickled radish was a delightful add-on to our dishes. We also enjoyed the selection of beer and soju from their menu offerings. We had a large group for dinner for a birthday and called ahead to reserve tables. They provided each person with single-use utensils (cup, plate, chopsticks). They have a spacious layout and lots of tables along with cool decor, featuring neon lights and a comic/manga collage wall. One thing to note is that the restaurant is located on the second floor, with the bathrooms on the main floor, which may pose challenges for individuals with accessibility needs.”
