“The Abington was a highlight of our visit to London. The service was impeccable and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. We had a group of 8 and selected a number of dishes and everyone raved. I had the chicken liver parfait, shared the pave steak and ended with the dark chocolate mousse. The wine list was not extensive but offered a well balanced selection from all over the world. I highly recommend”

“A humble little halal hamburger and kebab shop on the corner of Cavell St. Incredibly student friendly prices and filling meals are all you need to look for. I got number 18, the donner kebab meal fot £6.49. The fries are crisp and comparable to McDonalds. The hot wings weren't made to order, and so we're a little cold, but won't make much difference if you get it take out. The kebab was on the small side, but this was made up for by the generous portions of meat within, which is surprisingly well balanced with the cucumbers and other veges. The venue is relatively small with few seating, but most orders are to go anyways. The restaurant itself is clean and the decor is refreshingly simple, not a restaurant trying to punch above its weight, appearance-wide. Staff are friendly, approachable and professional. Nothing more, nothing less. All in all a good place to get a great bite on a rainy Sunday night.”

“Pretty overpriced for the quality. I tried the loaded fried BBQ jerk dumpling burger which cost over £10. The dumpling and chicken had clearly been reheated, not cooked to order, because they were served just a couple minutes after ordering. There were just a couple small strips of dry chicken breast dressed in far too sweet BBQ sauce; maybe the normal Jerk burger would be better.”

“Walked past tai won mein for a quick meal and turns out it is unexpectedly good. The wonton soup and dumpling is average, but the stir fried beef ho fun is very good. Can taste the wok hay and seasoned very well. Portion is also very generous as ‘tai won’ means big bowl in cantonese. Not to mention the very affordable price in london. For such a large portion cause less than £10”

Previously there were staff from Pakistan always knew how my family liked chicken done and swap rice for pitta I asked this time but couldn’t also requested juicy chicken but didn’t and really less peri salt.. even just the vibe of staff at front not like the previous staff”

“Tiny looking from outside but inside quite surprising looks spacious, three tables and quite few chairs to have eat in meal. Bit pricey looking at first look boxes come with decent porting of meat and they are very tasty. Only thing on which puts meal and score little bit down are the wings: they were very soggy and dripping with oil, rest of meal was very very good. Good option for a fast food meal in tha area.”
