“A laid back neighborhood bar offering a friendly casual atmosphere and some of the best wings in Chicago. You seat yourself which can be tricky since nights are often crowded with college students. Daily drink specials are offered. Menu selections include a variety of appetizers,salads,wraps,sandwiches,pizza and of course wings. We had to wait a little bit to find a table but as we looked around,everyone was having their wings. We ordered a pitcher of beer (Drink special of the day 12.00) and a basket of 20 wings with their own Birds Best Hot Sauce and an order of Cajun fries with cheese for dipping. Fries were not greasy but I wish the cheese sauce was warm and not cold. The wings had just the right amount of crisp and the sauce was not too hot ...just right! Good size and very meaty. They are the real deal! Plenty of street parking and an outdoor patio in the summer. If you want good wings in the city at a decent price,this is the place to go.”

“I think good, but not great sums up our experience here well. We arrived with no reservation on a Friday evening, and chose to sit in the bar area which had a great vibe. The drinks were good, but the food was lacking. They have a relatively unique menu for a Mexican restaurant so we expected unique flavors, but unfortunately most items we tried fell flat. For example, there was no kick or heat to the habanero crema to offset the sweetness of the tamal tots. My chicken verde taco was probably the highlight of my meal, but it was also hard to eat. I would probably return for their happy hour if I were already in the neighborhood, but wouldn’t be eager to return for dinner. Service was on the slow side, but I didn’t factor that into my review because it was very clear they were short staffed like many other restaurants right now. They were hustling to attend to every table, and remained very friendly!”

“Stopped here on the way to a Bruce Springsteen concert at Wrigley Field. I ordered the brunch burger. The burger patty was a mixture of beef and chorizo - very tasty. I have this a 4 star review because the waitress was slow to take our order, my tots came out luke warm, and half our groups order came out 15 minutes after the others. The experience wasn't a total loss. I will give this place another chance next time I come to town.”

“We had dinner here during our visit to Chicago. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The server made us feel right at home and was so helpful in giving recommendations. I had the steak salad and taco soup and my husband had the carnitas sandwich, all were phenomenal. We had such a good time that we decided to stay and move over to the bar after dinner. “We tried to call 3 times to order in advance but nobody answered the phone. So we went in person and ordered the large jumbo shrimp dinner and 25 Garlic wings. The wings have zero seasoning on them. Both visually and by taste, the wings are bare. The shrimp were very over cooked and were far from jumbo. The lady said that she tried to tell us they didn’t have jumbo after we ordered, but nobody ever came to the car (where we said we’re waiting). The fries were also undercooked. Overall really disappointing that we spent over $60 on food that was very subpar. We used to love Wingz It Iz, especially this location but we won’t be back.”

“Located in a small plaza with minimal parking we’re happy we didn’t arrive during lunch rush; otherwise finding parking will be an issue once you enter you’ll be greeted by a kiosk machine you can order either from the kiosk or in person cashier the kiosk interface is easy to operate For beverage we got two smoothies pina colada and horchata both were added boba to give them a drinkable texture both drinks were presented in a minimal designed cup to seal the cup it uses the can topper it like drinking from a can both were ok but I was kind of disappointed it were made of artificial powder For entree we had 10 pieces wings combo it came with fries and coleslaw we also have tiger fries as another side the wings are well mixed with wings and drumsticks the batter is well done and crispy the wings are cover with tiger sauce which best describes it as sweet tangy bbq sauce the coleslaw wasn’t rich and creamy which it probably needed the fries were lightly salted and lukewarm the same goes for the Tiger fries and I feel like they cheap out the ingredients supposedly it has kimchi and green onions but I don’t see either of those in the fries I would like to comeback again to try out their Korean style corn dog overall it was subpar food”

“I bought a gyro burger which came with fries and a can pop. I paid $14 and some change. The burger was so small that it still was room on the small bun. I had about six stripes of gyro which were small. I watch the cook pile on a lady three gyros. I just knew that I was going to have a decent amount on my burger. Some other lady ordered the same thing. He fixed it the same way. I would have been better off buying the gyro special. I think that anytime someone uses a card you should give them the option of them wanting there receipt. I was surprised that my container was so light. I hate coming to get something to eat and someone is selling something else other than food.”
