“We took our 13mth old daughter for her first ever farm trip and so glad we brought her to Hesketh Farm, so interactive for her and so much to see and do. It was Halloween when we went and they had pumpkin carving too which she enjoyed helping with. Staff were lovely and letting people know when things were about to take place such as feeding the animals etc rather than having to keep an eye on the time for things! “First visit here and rate it 👍 Parking is easy and right by the beach, £5 for all day - up to 2200hrs. This beach is dog friendly and no restrictions. Location is easy to find and right on the coastal footpath. Access to the beach is via steps at two locations and both are fairly steep, but doable. The beach itself is a mix of sand and areas of rock, so plenty of pools and formations to explore.”

“I've been climbing here a year now with my 2 boys and we love it. Great atmosphere, full of friendly people ready to chat or give advice. It's an old pool building, so yes the roof occasionally leaks a little, but we're climbers, so who cares. The walls were all recently refurbished and the holds are mostly well used, so not too sharp on the hands. The route setting is creative, fun and has a mixture of challenges at each level. I feel that they do a great job of creating a wide spread of difficulty within each colour grade, so you can gain confidence by finding a soft route and then continue to progress to the really challenging stuff. Best time to go if you want quiet is Sundays afternoons or Thursday evening. If you like a social climb, then maybe Wednesday when they often have some one night only boulder problems on the area that they are resetting (quadrant all grade reset every Weds).”

The other event was a corporate day where we hosted 60+ clients at SCK. The team at SCK are fantastic and everyone went the extra mile for us, allowing us to bring product to site a day early & set up promo bits. Will definitely be returning again next year and would highly recommend as a venue for softer networking and client entertainment.”

“I don’t usually do reviews but I felt I just had to say something about this absolute gem of a place. Visited with my husband and 3 of my children ages 4, 2 & 7 months. We arrived at 11 and stayed the whole day there. There is so much to do. The kids (and us) played all day and we could have easily done another couple of hours on top. The place is so well constructed and maintained. The layout is spacious and easy to navigate. So much thought and care has been put into it and it really shows. The adventure playground in particular is just fantastic, the best I have ever seen and big enough for the adults to run around in too. After a full day of running around with the kids we felt happy and energised and pleased to have spent a day doing wholesome, family activities. My favourite day out with my kids ever. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Hasty, a lovely woman, who told us all about the farm. I really cannot recommend this place enough and I absolutely will be visiting again (even if it means a 2 hour drive from London. It’s worth it) and recommending to anyone and everyone. Go. You won’t regret it.”

“Lovely magical experience for everyone especially the little ones. I think it’s well worth the money, they get to make their own soft toy to take home, sweets from the shop, decorate a gingerbread man and a present from Santa. I took my 3 year old Granddaughter who was a bit overwhelmed at times and a little reluctant to join in at first but the kindness and patience of all Santa’s helpers meant she was very brave and got to see him in the end and get her present so I would like to say a big thank you to all of them for that.”

“Recommended by a friend and I really enjoyed it the bouldering is set out with some really good puzzles to solve from beginner to expert good way of warming up before hitting the big walls. Enjoyed the Slab wall with tricky puzzles but makes it fun solving them 😊. Had a breather and a gorgeous fired Pizza with nice crispy base cooked to perfection just how I like them not too heavy so climbing afterwards was good. Facilities were clean and tidy, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return and conquer some of the big walls.”
