“1st time visit this branch, and I have made prior reservation. As we are a big group, we are given a seat outside the restaurant, in the public area (think still within restaurant area. Food is generally good and they maintain their standards What I don’t like? They don’t serve tea in a pot (sharing) and drinks have to be individually ordered. Guess this is their way of making more money from drinks. Despite we are 7 paxs and ordered 11 items, they still pushed for bigger size portion, we had to reduce the size for certain items. Serving speed is ok, however, they missed out some of our appetizers, which was served almost at the end of the meal. Overall, still recommended for the quality of food.”

Tipsy Bunny

50 Jurong Gateway Rd, #01-05 Jem, Singapore 608549

“Bestie and I both non-drinkers were there just for food and live performance for a ladies' night out. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Due to the noise level, it would make more sense to be able to order via QR instead of having to raise our voices directly to the servers' ears. 😅 Pizza was amazing and steak was quite decent.”

“One of my favourite places to have a coffee and dine at! My personal favourites are the Fish & Chips and Chorizo Mac & Cheese because they taste great and are a huge hearty portion! The regular fries, sweet potato fries and truffle fries were all great! The Pork Schnitzel was a huge hearty portion, but the pork itself seemed a little thin. The Chicken Parmigiana was a little disappointing today as it seemed quite burnt and small compared to everything else. Mentioned in other reviews as well, but many menu items are fried, perhaps some grilled meat/fish, pasta or pizza may be a good addition to consider. I love the coffee and I love that their iced coffees are actually double shots by default and not simply a watered down version of the hot one with ice. :-) The choice of beans also allowed me to opt for a flavour profile I prefer! (Notes for Paradise & Folk Yard are Chocolatey & Nutty / Fruity & Acidic respectively.) They now have a wider range of beers and spirits at a reasonable price which is great! Water is available indoors, it’s self service. They are also pet friendly. Limited parking available.”

“Attended best friend's wedding here, which is really cosy. Food was delicious 😋 Service from the crew was awesome too! All instructions for the wedding arrangement were followed to the "P" for perfect! Only thing negative was entrance is within Museum where there's too much Museum visitors poking nose to KPO 😆”

“🥢🌱 Yi Xin Vegetarian - A Vegan Chinese Delight! 🌏🌿 For the longest time, trying authentic Chinese cuisine as a vegan felt out of reach. My experiences with Chinese food in Mexico and the United States were often mixed, lacking vegetarian options. Yi Xin Vegetarian changed the game, and I'm thrilled to finally savor vegan Chinese delights. The portions are hearty, the flavors are spot-on, and the service is friendly—it's a true family operation. At just 6 SGD, you can indulge in a plate of rice with three delectable dishes. The menu offers a diverse range, from fried dishes to an abundance of fresh vegetables. Yi Xin Vegetarian strikes the perfect balance, catering to Western tastes while delivering an authentic Chinese culinary experience.”

“Food: high quality food. Fresh. Very tasty and sumptuous! See the almost finished bacon dish in my review. 😉 Service: excellent! The male manager service is very good! Very thoughtful and customer-oriented! Well done for having such a staff! Atmosphere: private dining room with 2 tables is perfect for 20-25 pax. Cost, comfortable and highly desirable! Price is always very competitive for restaurants in this building.”

“Our usual hangout for the family, love the pool, the service and it takes you out of the hustle and bustle of life. The kids love the food at the Verandah Cafe and their usual favorites are: - butter nun - chicken wings - pasta Particularly good are their range of Indian food: - Murg Makhani (tandoori chicken Tikka double cooked in butter and cream tomato sauce) - Murg Tikka Masala (basically tandoori chicken) Buffet options are also available, both for adults and the kids. For drinks, we particularly love the lassi (yogurt drink). Finally, the club has superb and excellent service. Always attentive and looking towards the needs. It’s always good to also show your appreciation towards them :)”

“Been years since I ate this. But seeing long queue every time now and the menu seems to have changed. The roast duck is actually better than last time, the meat is more tasty and tender, but find the sauce not as thick as previously. The fried rice is a bit bland and should be improved. The claypot chicken meat is tasteless but the sauce is very nice. Veg is ok only while the soup is too bland. The quantity is too much for the family though will be back to eat the roast duck.”

Legendary Bak Kut Teh At South Bridge Fa Chuan Ren Rou Gu Cha
4.3

46 South Bridge Rd, Singapore 058679

“The Bak kut the taste is totally different from Malaysia to be honest, I should say it’s not the same thing, we can’t compare between both dishes from different country, both has its unique flavor and taste. I personally love the Bak kut teh with strong pepper flavor from Singapore than the one with herbs flavor in Malaysia. The dishes was not bad, stir fried vegetable was flavorful and tasty. The pork trotter was abit salty though.”

“Samsui ginger chicken, soup and ah por fan shu leaves were all very delicious. Service was good and seating was comfortable. On our second visit, minced pork with salty fish and tong kwai kai lan were also very delicious. All portions were small.”

“I personally love all the food that were ordered. The beef hor fun, the soft shell crab noodle and the fiery chicken are especially good! If not for the flies flying around our table, it’s definitely a 5 star. Hope the management looks after the hygiene better and no more flies in my next visit.”

Kai Garden (marina Square)

“Food was good, great variety and presentation too. Staff were attentive and pleasant and really tries their best. They serve and clear items promptly and top up your tea regularly despite being very busy. Dishes came out real quick too. Pork belly and signature fried rice were great. As the space isn't that big, just be prepared for the noise and enjoy the bustling atmosphere!”

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 10:00 PM

53 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, #02-26, AMK Hub, Singapore 569933

“A Hong Kong style family restaurant located inside a shopping mall. Quality seemed to have dropped with char siew not tasting like they had been properly grilled, very chewy and hard. The other dishes were nothing to shout about too, and mostly were not exactly warm when served. The milo dinosaur with a dinosaur ice was cute but tasted a bit diluted. Kind of overpriced for the standard of food served.”

Labyrinth Restaurant
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Raffles Ave., #02 - 23, Singapore 039802

“Very mixed thoughts in Labyrinth. The restaurant is exactly as advertised - chefs take on Singapore food - however I didn’t think it was necessary better than hawker stalls (especially if you consider the price). The other thing with the menu is it switched between hot and cold dishes too often (cold as in frozen). For example, the salad was cold, then the frog pie was hot, then the chili crab was partially cold, then switched to hot prawn mee, then the fish was even cold (I think the sauce not the fish itself)…. And so forth.”

Griglia Open Fire Italian Kitchen

Open until 10:30 PM

37 Craig Rd, #01-01, Singapore 089675

“This is one of the best meals I've had in years. While the main event is the grilled meat and seafood, don't overlook their pasta dishes - which are mind-blowing. I much preferred their pasta to the more famous (and hyped up) Italian restaurants that opened in Singapore recently. The octopus fusilli in particular is a must order. The grilled steak and sea bass we had were both done to perfection and we finished every last piece of meat on the table. The desserts at Griglia are beautiful and delicious works of art. We ordered all three on the menu and they were unique, creative and delicious. Food aside, the service is impeccable. The service team are of the standard you would expect to find in the world's best restaurants. They were friendly, helpful and attentive and gave excellent recommendations. The lady that was taking care of our table was especially wonderful - she left a deep impression on us. At the end of the meal, she surprised us with a printed photo of our group, which was a very touching surprise. A great way to end such an incredible meal!”

Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant

317 Outram Rd, Singapore 169075

“Food is good Recommended the soup of the day, roasted duck Roasted duck has crispy skip and moist and tasty meat. Soup of the day is authentic Cantonese style of soup. Tasty. Xiao long bao is a disappointment. The rest of dishes are ok and normal Overall Service 4.5 Food 4”

Uncle Leong Seafood (punggol)
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 10:00 PM

6 Tebing Ln, #01-03 Punggol East, Singapore 828835

“Good service by the staff. They were all very friendly and full of smiles. Can see they are genuinely happy working here. Price wise kind of on the pricier side. The price was around 190, inclusive of drinks and crackers and rice. Food taste wise was average to above average. The only dish I was really disappointed with was the fish. It was just bland unfortunately. Food portions are relatively small but definitely of quality produce. Serving time was on the slower side. But to be fair, they did have alot of customers. Overall not a bad place to enjoy quality time with friends and family. Would have been 4 stars if the price was more value and 5 stars if there was a wow factor.”

Tong X In Ru Y I Traditional Hotpot
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:30 PM

6 Lor Telok, Singapore 049019

“This hotpot stands out as one of my preferred choices, offering a more creatively crafted and higher-quality selection of dishes. Though slightly pricier, the cleaner and more pleasant environment justifies the cost. The freshly made fish paste and a diverse range of meats—beef, pork, and fish—add to the culinary experience. The variety extends to vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and noodles. The unique touch of a drumstick soaking in the chicken broth, peeled by the waitress with gloves, adds a distinctive flavor. The spicy sauce and vinegar mix, with coriander and peanuts, serves as a delightful appetizer. Opting for both a spicy mala broth and a chicken base soup, the attentive service and rich flavors further enhance the dining experience.”

Lei Garden Restaurant (chijmes)
4.2
( 8 reviews )

30 Victoria St, #01-24 CHIJMES, Singapore 187996

“The Peking duck is really nice, crispy and the right amount of fats which is what makes it really tasty. The rest of the food is nice and fresh as well but does it justify for the price? I don’t think so, I had better dim sum with 20% cheaper price. I reckon you pay for the service and atmosphere. Since most of the dim sum place services is usually lagging.”
