“The things ordered: duck-dog, guanche-dog and the brownie. Hands down the best couple of hotdogs I’ve had in Madrid. The sauce they have (the original and a slightly spicier one), the crispy fries, and the brownie sent me straight to heaven forreal. I was pretty much on all fours after those couple of dishes. It’s a combo of a brownie and a coulant, so it was hot and served next to some scoops of icecream (vanilla or dulce de leche I think?) great environment, great food and people. Highly recommend trying!!”

“We stopped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed the menu del dia. We had Thai style soup with mushrooms and coconut milk, followed by rice noodles with pork in satay sauce (peanut and coconut). Dessert was tarta de abuela or roasted fig in a white chocolate creme anglaise. Beer and a sangria accompanied the meal, all for a reasonable €12.50. I love what the chef is doing with an Asian spin on Galician ingredients. We thought the noodles would have been perfect with the addition of some lime juice or another acid to brighten the flavors. Friendly, efficient service. We’ll go back!”

“We tried the Sweet and sour chicken, Noodles with chicken and vegetables, house rolls, chicken egg and corn soup as well as their house fried rice. Everything was delicious! We had to use Google translate on the menu, as it was only in Spanish and Chinese (using their wi-fi). Total came to 44 Euros, which included 2 bottles of water and three Coke Zeros. The waitress was not very friendly, not even a smile.”

“An unassuming restaurant near the bus/train station boasting some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten! Graceful service by the lady waitress/owner? It was so good we went THREE times in the 3 days we were in Santiago. To die for is the cold chicken in the appetisers section, the cumin cauliflower, the bok choi, the…..really amazing food and not at all the typical Chinese restaurant fare. I regret I couldnt taste everything but, must go-to place in Santiago”

“Great Asian restaurant with a good variety of dumpling and watons. We were 2 people and had 3 different kind of dumpling (the duck ones were amazing!), the Laksa soup (delicious) and a mochi tiramisu. They have their own IPA beer which is interesting as well Everything was delicious, friendly service, price is fine for the great quality of food. There is something addictive there, I'll go back for sure!”

“The giant and tasty bocadillos on offer here have made this ordinary looking spot quite the popular place in Cabanyal. Seems like various instagrammers posting pics of themselves with huge stuffed sandwiches have made tables hard to come by so if you fancy stopping by for breakfast a booking is essential. The bocadillos in question are very nice and not the standard fare, with friendly service on top. Just make sure to book ahead!”

“Very nice restaurant. The food was very high quality (reflected in the price) and very well cooked and presented. Lots of choice on the menu but some things have to be booked in advance. The dining room has fantastic traditional spanish decor. There is also some outside seating and a deli counter where you can buy the meats and sausages to take away.”

“A beautiful minimalist modern interior is what you first walk into. This is not your typical whole in the wall Chinese restaurant. The service is friendly and the me is traditional yet creative. The food is VERY good and not greasy like many Chinese restaurants in the US. My group got the steamed seabass, oxtail with mushrooms, stir fried veggies and truffled prawns. All these dishes came out hot and fresh. They were all very flavorful and delicious. If you need a break from the typical Spanish cuisine then come here and enjoy a taste of a China.”

My favourite were bolletus and shrimps - super tasty. My highlight goes to the service - very attentive - it is great to see how a good place levels up because of a good service.
