“Beautiful place to eat! Most of the food was really nice and environment was cozy and warm! Really nice view just few steps from the restaurant! A bit expensive and food took around 30 minutes to be served 😐, be aware that there is a dish of pasta with apple sauce and cheese which should NOT be in the menu; it was simple, fatty and not a nice taste at all! 🤭🤢 English menu are not provided so make sure you ask what you are ordering! 😬”

“I was initially disappointed to see the hotel was still very much in the city, but the ambiance inside is even lovelier than I expected. Returning in the evening for dinner even more lovely, as the restaurant is lit in a most beautiful way, a welcome sight after a day of sightseeing in the city. The decor and lighting are tasteful and cozy. The food was simply delicious! I ordered entrecot that you finish at your table in a delicious herbed butter. Dinner was preceded by excellent bread and olives, then a refreshing sort of gazpacho with a sprinkling of greens. The quality of everything, from these starters to the beef to the fresh, crisp vegetables and fried potatoes, the presentation, was excellent. The evening was rounded out by impeccable service from the attentive and professional staff. From start to finish, a wonderful evening, and a wonderful stay at the hotel. I hope to return.”

“At 11:00 am on a weekday, i wanted to stop quickly for a coffee, my baby had finally fell asleep and i could enjoy 10min sitting calm. I was rushed out with the excuse that the tables were all booked for lunch and even a coffee was out of question (?!) they wanted me to go to an other area but the stones on the floor would have woken up my baby. Too bad they are so rigid.”

“A cool, self service, grill, all you can eat restaurant for 60 Swiss francs. If you are vegetarian you pay 30 which is a lot for some veggies but still a nice gesture. The choice of meat is very diverse, they have stuff like kangaroo and deer. You can put together a salad that you can warm up with a plancha. Service is nice. Great wine and beer is all inclusive. If you don't drive and want to eat, drink to your liking and have a nice time. Go to Barbaro”

“Staff is very friendly and I had a non standard order- some to eat and a couple of dishes to take home. Tables are put at a safe distance from one another and adhere to the social distancing recommendations, staff is wearing masks and made me feel safe.i For beer drinkers- there is müllerbrau from the tap and couple more thai and asian beers from the bottle. Wine card has some variety. Starters- order the standard spring rolls, bit disappointed honestly. It was definitely from deepfreezer and had lots of oil. Not worth 7.50 chf for two pieces. Sushi- nothing extraordinary apart from price.40 chf for couple of rolls of spicy tuna, california and maki. Main dish- green curry with tofu, this tasted fresh and was really good taste.i wish the chef from the curry can oversee the others to make it better quality overall. Nice location and qality can improve. Specially after corona impact i would like to see the restaurant business spring back to its earlier heights, please put in a little more effort and this restaurant has lot to offer.”

Food was delicious with a local touch to it and the kitchen clearly knew what to do with local ingredients. Prices were okay. Including drinks we paid s little more than 200chf which is not cheap but fair for the service and the for courses.”
