“We decided to try David’s Kitchen after so many recommendations from friends, and the food did not disappoint. The potstickers were as good as we were told, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Cashew Chicken were delectable, although there wasn’t very much chicken in the Cashew Chicken dish. The service wasn’t too great, and we had to sit for nearly 15 minutes with empty plates to get our check, and never got refills on our drinks. UPDATE 2023: We ate at David’s Kitchen again on a Saturday evening right when they opened, and unlike the previous visit, the service was fantastic. The food was wonderful as always, especially the potstickers.”

“I am not sure why this establishment has such good ratings but I'm here to say that my experience was not only sub par but disgusting. To begin with my soda was flat and the glass that contained the soda had old food stuck to it. I had ordered shrimp fried rice and it tasted like sanitizing chemicals. Another member of our party had the noodles and the texture was extremely slippery, more than a noodle like this should have been. We also had ordered orange chicken and that tasted of vinegar. Hopefully I will never be in a position where I am obligated to go to this restaurant again. In fact, now may be a good time to see if the Utah Health Department can pay them a surprise visit. In closing, the only reason they received two stars rather than one star is the server was fairly nice.”

“The service was great. The food is not worth the money at all. Five adults and 2 kids (10 & 8 years) with 7 drinks $168 at dinner. With everything going up, I can see why, which is totally fine. But their food the time we were there were not fresh, oily, soggy, and some of the pan/tray were still empty when we left. Everywhere else around the block on a Friday were packed, this place empty, not even dozen people in it. I'm just disappointed.”

“Ordered the beef and broccoli, beef lo mein lunch meals, and the vegetable fried rice dish. Our beef lo mein order was misinterpreted, and chicken lo mein was brought out instead. After a disagreement with our server about the order. Management stepped in and graciously corrected it. The beef in both meals was tender and succulent to our tastes. But the fried rice in both was dry without flavor. The egg drop soup was flavorful, deliciously hot, and well complemented the complete meal. But by far the star of the meal was the vegetable fried rice. Heaping large portions, filled with a delightful blend of fresh crisp vegetables.”

“Pepper Steak was probably the only good thing I ordered. Egg roll is not so great. The expensive burnt dry ribs were disgusting. After they bring your food out. Never see anyone again. I'm sure some other dishes are good even better. Just the one I got wasn't 5 star. I personally do not mind paying for high price meal cause it's happening everywhere. But at least put some love into it.”
