“Would like to treat my Dutch friend to nice lunch or dinner who lives in Zwolle, and it was a perfect choice. Ordered 3 courses menu, salmon-meat(pork and beef)-brownie with ice cream which is fantastic combination. They made my christmas day! Old and sentimental mood which has kept in heritage things. In addition, food and wine pairing, staffs all nice and friendly. Was looking for Michelin star restaurants but it was not easy to find booking available. In spite of all my difficulties, it was the right choice to visit Poppe.”

“Well…The ambience is quite nice and more „fancy“ than in other Chinese restaurants. The service is quick. The food is good - but nothing exceptional. I had a vegetarian meal and the price for that was 22,90€, which is just ridiculous. The price for an espresso: 3,60€ (not joking!!!!!). Mai 2023. So all in all, Oriental City is way too expensive for what it is.”

“Beautiful place in a new area of the town. The owner is super nice and offered us a discount! Even without the discount the quality-price is worth it and there is plenty of food variety to choose from. The drinks are included (beer, wine and sodas) as well as the sweets and gelato. The chiefs will cook in front of you what you choose with high professionality, both entraining and delicious 😋. The only thing we didn't know was that there is the all you can eat option. But again it is worth it.”

“It took a while for the cook to arrive at the plate. Then it took more time as others got their food. The food was quite ok but was sometimes overcooked. the pork was too salty unfortunately. Then we got a really long break before a new chef made the last two dishes. we sat from 18:30 until 21:45 which was far too long. If it was done in 2 hours the score would have been much higher.”

Still, the service was fast and efficient, the food of excellent quality, but pretty pricey compared with other Chinese restaurants... and we had to pay €0.50 for the packaging of our 'doggy-bag'... A good location near the access roads of the main motorway; reasonable parking; lots of crisp, clean table linen; simple toilet facilities.”

“Fairly unfriendly staff members. When I walked in there alone to go to the toilet everything was fine. But when we wanted to wait inside with 8 children, because it stank of fertilizer outside and it was fairly cold, we were sent out of the establishment immediately after passing over the doorstep. The man in charge was not having that. It wasn't even clear yet whether or not we wanted to sit down and have a drink. 8 international children and two adult teachers are just not welcome. I really don't understand why we were immediately evicted from the restaurant, without any form of justification. The children were not loud and merely entered. I rate this place 1 star because I found this place unwelcoming and outright unfriendly. I would not recommend anybody to go here and will never visit this place again. Better go to the restaurant across the street.”

“A reasonably accessible building with sufficient parking space for all vehicles and equipped with 2 electric charging points. The manned reception is well placed with electronic access. There is a bar and seating areas to rest and chat. There is also a vending machine with appropriate snacks & drinks. The room is spacious, complete with air conditioning for fresh air and cooling. All equipment is modern, kept clean, diverse and placed in groups suitable for their purpose. There is a basement with equipment and a 1st floor for group training, changing rooms, toilets, showers & a sauna. Physiotherapists also practice by appointment. All in all, a modern, suitable location for training, meeting and chilling afterwards.”

“For most individuals this will be a great restaurant. Very nice concept that you can enjoy both WOK and à la carte sushi. The service is very friendly and the sushi is served quickly. One of the disadvantages is that every meat dish is served with dry red onion and separate sauces. I can also go downstairs for a special frikandel. I was also raised to eat without elbows on the table, but in this restaurant you are obliged to do this because the height of the benches does not match the tables at all. If you go for dinner including drinks: these are included in the round and are therefore at the expense of your choice of sushi/grill for that round. In summary: you can go here for an average evening of sushi!”

“Had a Christmas buffet at Jin Xing. In 1 word; BAD! - We couldn't all sit at one table. (There was only 1 family left next to us for the buffet) - There was little choice and half of the containers were empty or the food was cold. - We had to keep asking if it could be refilled. - We were never asked if everything was to our liking or if we wanted something to drink. We had to ask for everything. - our dessert (2 bare scoops of ice cream) was served while all the dishes from the buffet were still on our table. - the toilets were dirty and we could not wash our hands because the taps could not be opened. Unfortunately this was a huge disappointment.”
