“So this location has only chicken based broth, even though the menu says beef and chicken broth. The spicy broth is very yummy. The lamb is delicious and is included in the price. I loved the fish, calamari and shrimp paste. They have fried rice and spring roll also as starters while your broth is getting warmed. They have ice cream also which is such a delight after having spicy broth.”

“It's a fine dining restaurant. The ambience is great and service is decent. It's a busy place and there was about 10-15 minutes wait time when we visited this place. Not a suggested place for vegetarian folks. A two star rating is due to the lack of vegetarian options. I would say it's a biased review and I had a limited number of veg options to choose from. And most of the available vegetarian options contain mushrooms which further narrowed down the scope. My friends enjoyed the place. Apparently the rest of the menu is good. Another reason for a low rating is the pricing. The food is not great and it cost me about $27 for a vegetable delight and spring rolls. Rice costs you extra.”

“It was empty when we went at dinner opening (5 PM) on a Sunday. The inside has a huge mural that looks great in photos and really adds to the ambiance. We ordered five dishes to share amongst three people. I liked the roasted duck salad and red braised baby back ribs the most. Both were very flavorful. The laksa lemak was a letdown; would not recommend. The aceh chicken gulai kurma had a nice coconut flavor, and the singapore chili beef was okay and not that spicy. We also had to pay extra for rice since none of the dishes came with rice. My friends also got the honey and lime and virgin watermelon mojito drinks. The mojito looked nothing like the pictures we saw, and we ended up discarding the drink after a few sips because it was not good. Even with five dishes, we were still a bit hungry afterward, which was disappointing for the price. Probably wouldn't come here again.”

“I went here all the time in high school and loved it. I came back for the first time in maybe 20 years last weekend. I was afraid it wouldn't live up. It had changed a bit, scallion pancake is now scallion pie and it's been changed, the general gaus chicken is a bit less crispy, but I have to say, overall, I think it's still my favorite chinese place in MA, even considering it's the fairly obvious American Chinese Food menu. When I'm around Concord, I'll continue to come here to eat.”

My bestie and I used to meet here at least once a week after work for good food and venting sessions...Lol Its a small, clean place off high street in Medford (across from the post office) accessible via #101 bus from Malden to Medford Sq, offer dine-in, take-out or delivery. The staff is friendly with great service and delicious food! I was going to get the usual-- curry puffs, tofu triangles, scallion pancakes, spring roll or massaman curry, but decided to try the lunch special--yellow curry with tofu, vegetables and white rice and. It was fantastic 😋 Even the limeade was good, not sweet just right 👌🏾 I am not sure if they still have the fried ice cream, if so give it a try and thank me later 😉”

I ordered the combination egg roll, chicken wing and ribs $17 and no rice? Highway robbery. Two egg rolls, two wings and dried ribs? I also ordered beef lo mein which was bland. Later I Ordered from New Dragon Chef in Waltham. Less stars but I tried them and the food was good! and I saved money while getting rice just like everywhere else gives it ....at least make your food worth the arm your gonna charge rice valley! who doesn't give rice like their name says-haha. Bad news: The location is sorta convenient being that I drive far for long periods of time . I was really hungry. Ordered a lobster sauce with shrimp the shrimp was rubbery the lobster sauce was watery and has peas and carrots - WHY I’VE NEVAA - and the spring roll was extremely greasy. The pork fried rice was also a - NEVA - red onions and white ? With pork fat and a weird flavor . “Dec 5 experience. Had to throw away my food. My pork chow mein was not edible. I could eat the rice only because i was hungry Almost threw up after eating my egg roll. The taste was that bad. The sauce didn't help, it might be fermented. The rice was over soy sauced. The maxim lo mein was without sauce and completely different than described. The taste and presentation was awful. I'm not sure why it was that bad. They had 4 cooks working and yet it looked as if I got what was meant for the disposal.”
