Prices are reasonable and the manger who works the front counter is hilarious! He makes us smile every time we come in!”

“Dolo was great! This was my first time here after quite a few friends recommended it and it didn’t disappoint at all! We were there on a Sunday morning, there was a ~20 min wait, which I guess is pretty typical. I’m not gonna go into what all we got, I think everyone has their own dimsum menu pretty set, but everything we got tasted really good. Gonna add this in my regular dimsum go to places. The food came quick, but service wasn’t the best, but oh well. Definitely recommend!”

“I love the spacious and bright upscale ambiance. One of the few Chinese restaurants here in Streeterville, so I had to support! The food here is great. I ordered the beef chow fun, and it was pan fried to perfection! I think this dish is actually better than a lot of the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown! The portions were also very generous! I was so full by the time I finished. I think I could have split this up between 2 meals, but I didn’t have a way to take this back with me! The service was great. Overall, a really good experience!”

“Was hoping for an authentic asian cuisine taste like what I would get in Chinatown... I got siomai, beef, chicken fried rice and vegetable roll. Nice ambiance and set up however not the intensity of flavor I'm looking for. I like the vegetable spring roll and its sweet sauce tho. :) Also, I hope they just said the real waiting time so I can do other stuff close by and just come back to pick it up. 10minute wait became 25 sitting in the car.”

“So I most definitely gotta leave a review hey guys those of you who have followed my reviews always know that I love to let others know about my experience that I have had which might be different from yours but hey this is my review. so I stepped out on faith today as I visited this restaurant located in Midlothian the name of the restaurant is called Gum Wah I'm a pretty loyal Patron meaning that when I like something I'm going to keep going there so my to go to restaurant I forgot it's closed on Sundays so I was looking on Google nearby restaurants and this one kind of stood out to me I checked the menu I read almost like 90 reviews and I looked at their food online so I said hey why not the gentleman that I talked to over the phone just had a really good energy about him you know like I could tell that he really cares about delivering world class customer service so this next comment doesn't have anything to do with them there wasn't really like a lot of spaces to park so I had to park in this Auto shop parking lot I looked around to see if my vehicle was going to be towed I didn't see anything plus I wasn't going to be in the restaurant very long which was next door so the gentleman at the pickup window was the same gentleman that I talked to over the phone I told him I was here for a pickup and while I waited for my food I think I waited less than 5 minutes I was looking at the menu and I just really had a great conversation with the gentleman that took my payment that I wanted to extend my gratitude & appreciation so I left a tip and I had to get a smoothie I really like smoothies by the way I got a strawberry mixed with banana and I added tapioca to my smoothie so when my order was ready and I left the tip on the merchant reciept copy The gentleman gave me some Chinese almond cookies which you guys don't know are one of my favorite cookies and I really like the fortune cookies as well they always have a comforting message that I read when you crack them open I ordered a large chicken fried rice for my wife and son and I and I also got four vegetable egg rolls so I drink the whole entire smoothie before I got home and I wanted to wait and save the almond cookies. when I got home I ate all three almond cookies I left one so my wife can try it so she can see what all the fuss is about I have never had vegetable egg rolls so fresh also the chicken fried rice was so perfectly put together I might have found me a new Chinese restaurant also besides Chinese they specialize in Cantonese Mandarin and Szechuan cuisines so let me leave you with this if you guys are in the Midlothian community please visit this establishment they definitely deserve 10 Stars they are open Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday and they're closed on Monday.”

“I love this place. I’m not sure why some of the people complaining get the most basic dishes ever. Chicken or shrimp fried rice? Kung pao beef? Boring! Their menu is enormous with a variety of dishes. Be a little adventurous and try something new. They have Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean. They also have boba tea and smoothies. Service was good, they were pleasant and we got our food fast. They also have sufficient seating for dining in. They have mammoth portion sizes so you’ll have leftovers to take home. The prices are very reasonable since you’ll have leftovers to take to work. It’s located by a Jewel so plenty of parking available. -pumpkin fried with salty egg 4 - first time trying this. I would recommend eating this with rice, that way the rice can help soak up some of that salt. -fish sauce chicken wings 5/5 - chicken was big and juicy. Fish sauce was a little subtle. I would have liked to have it more prominent. -sea eel and shrimp fried rice 5/5 - eel is cut into small pieces but good size shrimp. Fried rice had the right balance of flavor. -beef cubes with tomato rice 5/5 - large pieces of beef, fresh tomatoes, and rice was well seasoned.”

“If I could give it 0 stars I would absolutely rude employees, they don’t want to admit they’re wrong asked for sesame chicken and recieved chicken slopped in what tasted like the sauce you dip your egg roll in . What a disappointment also waited 2 hours for my food… not acceptable this is not sesame chicken. And when I talked to the guy at the counter he kept asking me why am I making his job so hard that is not how you treat the people who are paying your bills . Such a disappointment . The guy made me drive back there after I ordered delivery just to prove a point…. He also hung up on me twice when I called him to ask for a refund. Finally got a refund but still worst experience ever Haha it won’t let me comment below but I ate two pieces to see if it was sesame chicken ? It was not…. This owner is a joke”
