“Awesome dumpling spot in suffolk county. I was a little skeptical to try a dumpling spot after working in Flushing so long hut I have this place a try. The food here is outstanding, on par with the best. I went with an order of soup Dumplings and duck buns. The Dumplings were the perfect consistency and texture. None of them broke before I started eating, which was nice. You can taste quality meat in them, not junk meat. The duck buns were equally as good. The bun was fluffy and thick. The ratio of meat, vegi, and bun was perfect. And the sauce was not overpowering at all. The price point was normal for the area. A little more expensive for something better quality, which is okay with me. I'd love to go back with friends and try some different items.”

“This was my first Long Island restaurant so I really did not know what to expect but people in Texas know good tacos, so this seemed like a good choice. Off back the restaurant is decorated well; it is eclectic but it still feels like everything belows in the same restaurant (minus the leg lamp for Another Christmas Story but is about Christmas time). This is a Mexican Asian fusion restaurant and I do think they pulled it off. The food overall was really good. I thought the chicken on the Kung pao taco was a bit tough and chewy, but the other two tacos I enjoyed. Everything is à la carte and our server, who was great, suggested 2-3 tacos a person. Tacos run on average about $6 each. I spent about 50$ before tip on 1 appetizer, 1 cocktail, and 3 tacos. I would come back if I was near a location. One thing I noticed, not sure if it's for this restaurant or a Long Island thing, there were two prices on the menu for cash and card, if you pay card it is a 4% increase.”

“This was our first time here and I am so happy we tried it. The interior was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We stopped in about 6:15 on a Saturday night and it was starting to fill up. We went there for Chinese but I had no idea they had Sushi & Thai as well. I am very picky about Chinese food and really only stick to few dishes that I like. We went with our old stand by.. Chicken & String beans (the husband's dish) & I got Shrimp Mei Fun. As you will see from the photos of the meals, they did not skimp on the servings. They were by far absolutely delicious and one of the best for probably very simple dishes. The food actually had a taste, not like some other places that's just oily and tastes like a burnt wok. The food came out hot, fast and fresh. We definitely will be back again and give the Sushi or Thai a try. ( Which BTW others around us ordered and seemed to enjoy)”

“I am so impressed with this place. I was not expecting to be this pleasantly surprised at all. We took out from here for a family gettogether so I got to see and try a lot of different dishes and it was one after another huge hit! I ordered the roast pork over noodles. The dish was super clean, authentic and simple (and I mean that in the best way). The quality of the pork was noticeable just by looking at it. Broth, noodles (for sure home made, you could see and taste that immediately too), bok choy, roast pork. It was a 10/10. The Szechuan wontons are a must get. They have a nice kick to them, but I will never ever not order them moving forward. Wifey got the Pad Thai, she's a fanatic and a harsh critic of pad Thai, she loved 1089 Noodle House's. Most others in my family got very typical Chinese takeout dishes (Beef and Broccoli, Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso's) so I got to do some sampling. All fantastic. Needless to say, my biggest regret is not trying this place sooner. 1089 Noodle House will for sure be my go to from this point on.”

“I ordered from here 2 weeks ago really liked the chicken and broccoli combination and chicken and string bean combo. The lo mein, boneless spare ribs and sesame chicken were kind of gross. So tonight I ordered chicken and sting bean combination. I drove 20 min to go pick it up. 20 min to get home and I get home and it isn't a combination and it is nothing but sting beans with 6 pieces of chicken. I was really looking forward to the pork fried rice cuz it was a lot better than the place close by... anyways I call and the lady says I didn't say combination when the 3 people that were with me when I ordered all said they heard me say "combination chicken and string bean". Needless to say, I will never drive out of my way to go here again. Plus: they are cash only so I had to pay an ATM fee.”

“I’ll give it a good 2 maybe 2.5. We were in a jam last night for some quick chiney. Usually frequent spot in Huntington which is expensive but the food is hot damn the best chiney I’ve had. However we had to go somewhere local and foo luk was close. Foo Yuk….the food was no bueno. It was cheap but it wasn’t good. We ate it, but it wasn’t good quality chiney. “Ordered through their website for take out yesterday afternoon, $45 worth of food. I scheduled it to be picked up 45 minutes from the time of order. I ordered extra items to get the $40+ “free item”. I showed up at the exact “ready” time and had to wait 15 minutes for the food, and they were not busy. Probably did not start cooking until I arrived. Anyway, I get home and noticed a few of the extra items were missing. Also noticed the “free $40+ item” was not what I had selected. The beef lo Mein I ordered tasted spoiled (the beef quality was also rubbery, tough and filled with fat/cartilage). The boneless roast pork was OK. My wife’s food was good so that was all that mattered in the end. Pouring rain out and did not feel up to driving 10 mins back to the restaurant. Overall quality has gone down recently. Prices went up, which I understand. But $45 for 4 items (one was soup!) left me with a sour experience. Will not be going back here.”
