“Event Cinema NP is an excellent cinema since everything had an upgrade! Nice comfy chairs, plenty of space. There is a great candy bar with lots to pick from, including alcoholic beverages, which is nice. Parking can be tricky, but we usually park under the warehouse, which is only a short 3-minute walk away and is free after 5 pm. Staff are usually friendly.”

“The staff were friendly. I was being dumb and had bought tickets for something two weeks from now. Only found out when I had already got there. The website seemed very strict and said no changes, but fortunately the people there are much nicer in real life. The rest of the experience was alright. The kind of movies they show is good, including some good reruns, but the interior is starting to look a little worn for wear if you ask me. The chairs in particular, although very comfy, looked a little seedy and could use a deep clean.”

The cinema shows a few films a day and you can order wine, beer, soft drinks and pizza to your seats. It reminds me of small town cinemas in Europe. Definitely worth a trip”

It felt better as the movie started though. The food and drinks seemed very overpriced. Not my favourite movie experience, although the staff members were very friendly.”

“Worth doing if you like walking. The walk up to the summit is a nice track and is in good condition. It is not too difficult We arrived on the 10am ferry and left on the 3:30pm, and that was a perfect amount of time to go to the top, visit the caves and also to visit the beach.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this Event Cinemas location. The big wide screen and the fact that it wasn't crowded made our movie experience even better. We were particularly impressed by the service provided by a gentleman with a beard who worked there, although we didn't catch his name. He went above and beyond to assist us. We visited around 1:40, and he finished his shift at 5pm on sept 19, 2023. We can't express how thankful we are for his exceptional service. It's worth noting that only a few staff members were as accommodating and helpful as he was. We hope you consider hiring more staff members like him in the future.”
