“I don't have a rating as no experience with them, so I just clicked 3, but someone called 'Stars' was advertising for new faces on Lento, seemingly for a new TVN serial. I didn't hear back from Stars after sending my photo and details. In places like LA or NYC it can be easy to be in a music video or something like that. Most other cities, not so easy. It's a very competitive industry unless you know someone. Even with a personal work connection in Wroclaw to an employee of an agency, yet I still wasn't accepted (never heard back) for a rival to Stars called Studio ABM in Wroclaw. And I am an almost exotic male in PL because I am a native speaker of English and so in theory I could be useful and the competition should be less. But probably I do unfortunately have an unconventional or even unattractive appearance, so there's that disadvantage :D Everyone, persevere if you want to be in showbiz, always be proactive, keep your spirits up, each rejection is a step to getting forward. Don't take the inevitable rejections personally, not ever. (Almost every star got rejected before they were big.) And why did I want to be an extra? Well, my friend here was one and it was fun if low paid. And I can't get any work teaching EN anymore (huge ZUS now), so why not! :D”
