“My family of 4 participated in the Mafia Heist escape room. Although we did not escape in time, we had a lot of fun trying. This escape room is very challenging and my boys (18 & 21) along with my husband and I enjoyed trying to figure out the clues to get from room to room. We really appreciated the hints that were given along the way to get us going in the right direction. We will definitely go back sometime and try one of the other rooms. Highly recommend for anyone who likes puzzles and figuring things out!”

“Came here solo for the Troy Bond show. I appreciate the staff putting me at the aisle seat. I use bathroom frequently and since I was by myself made it less awkward when groups came in. It is a cozy venue and the seating is snug. Come early for better seats. There were two girls that came later and kept hassling the staff and waitress Brit for "better" seats. They came later in the night expecting seats and trying to sit in their "regular" seats in a SOLD OUT show. The staff and Brit were so nice and polite. Idk how they could say the same thing multiple times and keep their composure. It became distracting since anytime they would see a staff member they would ask them the same question. Its not until the first act was done that the staff thought of them and told them they can find another seat since there was no shows for the main act. They finally moved and was able to enjoy the show. I recommend the personal pizza and the $15 moscow mule they had. The tables are tiny so it makes it weird if you are eating and others so close next to you are not part of your group lol. It was pricy but was good. Drinks are pricey here so come prepared.”

“We have come and seen several productions at the mercury theater that were really excellent. The theater is small and so almost every seat is a great view. There is a small stage and bar area at the front that is used for some productions. I would highly recommend any production here. Set design, costumes, sound, direction, and talent have all been top notch and we have had some great experiences!! Do not miss out on an opportunity to check out this theater.”

“If you’re digging for Rock and Metal records visiting Chicago - this is THE place you don’t want to miss. Be sure to view the “just in” (unsorted) section - who knows what you’ll find. I saw all kinds of things here I had never seen before or not seen in years. They also have blues, pop, garage, indie, R&B and other genres, but the rock and metal are the largest collections. If you’re into horror and fantasy they also have movies and books and all the related things you would expect. Nice collection of metal band pins by the register for sale and other items too. You won’t leave here empty handed lol.”

“Food: Didn't order any food, but you can. Ordered an angry orchard. Reasonable prices on drinks. Atmosphere: As soon as you walk in, there a counter towards the middle of the floor. You will have sign into the wait-list machine in front of it. The counter clerk will call your ticket when a lane is ready. You're given tickets to exchange your shoes at a different counter. It is $45 an hour to bowl. Ample amount of lanes available altogether given how packed this place got. Love that there is a parking lot here. Service: No one is waiting on you table-wise. Bartender was social and friendly.”

“Historic pool hall, one of the filming locations for the "Color Of Money". I stopped in on a weekday afternoon. Probably half of the tables were in use in the main room by the time I left. The fellow working the counter was helpful, and he and I spent some time talking about the movie. There were a number of skilled shooter there, some playing 3-cushion billiards, others one-pocket and a few playing rotation games. One player had his names stitched on his case, so I looked him up and discovered he's about a 700 Fargo. Pretty sporty. Pocket billiard tables were all 9-foot Diamonds that I could see. I think they were blue label. Cloth on some was looking pretty worn, and the furniture and floors were old and scruffy. My table played fine - rolls and bounces were true. Balls were heavily used but serviceable. House cues were in just OK shape - at least the ones near my table. No alcohol - just pop and snack food. You can bring in beer and wine, apparently.”

The seats don’t really recline they don’t have that 4D effects built in either. They don’t have wine.”

“I really love this movie theater! It is way cheaper than other movie theaters in this area. If you get the $20 popcorn bucket you can get refills of a large popcorn all year long for only $2. We go probably once a month so it’s a really good deal. All the staff are very kind too. Overall, it’s a great movie theater!”
