“I simply love the place. The ambiance here is one of the best in Chennai. It is a great place for a relaxing evening. The choice of cigars and drinks are simply mind boggling. They have great wine selection, great malts from all over the world. The choice of malts from Japan was amazing. The service is another area which truly surprised me. The service people are always attentive without being a disturbance to us. The lighting is so relaxing and immediately helps relax us into the comfortable chairs here. The place is a quiet place so being boisterous may not help the others. The music is very very low and nice. The pricing is on the high-end. Ordering a peg of a good malt can set you back by a few thousand rupees and the pricing is for small (small pegs). Wine choices are from all over the world and not cheap but people who come here do not look at the price and order. Truly a place where one can take an important client or girl friends. One of the classiest bar that I have been to.”

“Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Food is good, no complaints. The quantity of food is perfect for two people, was not aware of it and also wasn't provided with half quantity, hence ended up wasting some of it. But I don't think I have seen any restaurant with sofas completely, extremely spacious too. The only problem about the restaurant is the entrance and the location, slightly shady, otherwise I think it'd hit a lot of costumers.”

“This place is located within Somerset greenways. It has a separate entrance. The place is calm and has nice music on the weekdays. Whereas on weekends and on days with events, this place becomes so happening. Music, dance etc . Apparently few stars visit the place frequently, didn’t bump into any though. Advise to make a reservation before hand. The service was so good . Drinks was perfect to the way we wanted , surprisingly the food was even more good. The prawns we tried was top notch. A good place to hangout.”

“I visited this place as the reviews were so good. However, the experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered masala peanuts and veg platter. The peanuts too salty but taste was still ok. The veg platter was a disaster, there was no taste whatsoever. It was cold and no taste in any of the items in the platter. I have attached a pic also. The whole menu is overpriced with 10% additional service charge, though staff was ok. As a customer we do not mind paying anything as we are going for the experience. But here this experience was totally missing. We finished the drinks and left in an hour. The least time we have ever spent in such a place.”

A truly value for money place , if you want to spend time with friends and have a good chat this is the place you can choose. Their Commissioner as well as 3 Pan flavours are excellent & the waiters do change the coal regularly, so the effect of Sheesha is quite smooth. We tried their starters which were definitely worth 5 Star rating, only thing missing here is drinks, if they add drinks on their plate, then this will overall be a superhit place to be at. “The Heritage walk at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel made us aware of the history behind the iconic "From the Harbor since 1933" cocktail that's being made the same way since the 1933. For some reason, they've removed it from the new menus but it's still available and comes with a little storytelling and live bartending/mixing by the staff. The story is quite fascinating. The prices of the cocktails are steep however. We paid 3600 INR for two of the same cocktails. The complimentary snacks were delicious. They've covered up the windows it seems, so the ambiance wasn't anything special. Service was exceptional as always at this hotel.”

The service is excellent as well . Valet parking, attentive staff still giving private space. The food is good taste. They give free snacks with drinks,and it was good. I ordered and I recommend it, Georgian bread. I ordered chicken but it's has options of bacon, lamb, and veg. The food is in range of 500-700 per dish. I think no offers on drinks. Will go back to try cocktails as it seems they know art and passionate about it.”
