“Pet Shop is a unique little bar located in Jersey City, NJ & it’s a great spot for gatherings!! I recently popped-in with a group of friends for a drink and I had a lovely experience. The bartenders are so nice and the atmosphere inside this place is so cool!! I tried a Lucky Shot and it was well-made + presented nicely. The food is AMAZING! Try the Tator Tot Tacos & the Cauliflower “Wings” with buffalo. I will definitely return here if I’m back in JC - I love this place!”

“My girlfriend and I went back in March. Fantastic experience. The staff (both the bartender and manager) were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made us feel as if they wanted us there AND wanted us to come back. Very cool industrial kind of vibe in the building. They do live music and private events. But the main thing is the cocktails. The alcohol is fermented there and the cocktails are crafted in house. Top quality stuff here. Inventive and thoughtful cocktails. They were really awesome. It’s worth it to come here for a few cocktails. Don’t miss this joint!”

“Came here for dinner on Halloween night. It was pretty empty so we had the pleasure of having the band just to ourselves which was wonderful. It came close to being a private dinner with live music. The drinks were excellent and food was decent and would highly recommend the coconut shrimp. The music was fantastic and the service was great. The portion sizes are big so keep in mind when ordering. Overall a good experience and will come back again”

“Had a lovely evening at Le Malt Lounge enjoying some cocktails, appetizers, and dinner (which was needed post Christmas madness!). The atmosphere was wonderful, service was fantastic, and the food and drinks were beautifully presented and delicious (as is always expected for the Le Malt brand!). It was my first time to this particular location - and we very much enjoyed the deviled eggs, chicken lollipops, and the salmon. Highly recommend the ‘it’s time for a bath’ cocktail, it was delicious as it was adorable.”

“We came here in a Friday. We use to come here a lot years ago. The usually has a great DJ. Food was good except for the rice seemed a bit hard undercooked and lacked seasoning. Salmon was amazing and flap were the drinks. The server was disappointing. Even though I told him I was going to write a review. He still showed no efforts. I doubt I will be back here for the food. Maybe just bar for the drinks.”

“Love this place. You can’t miss with the detroit style pizza. The motor city is my jam and you can’t go wrong with the plain either. They even have one with pineapple on it that surprisingly works! The bourbon mint tea was my drink of choice and had a few of them. The backyard also is a nice touch where you can sit and enjoy the nice weather. Highly recommend.”

“Very interesting and big place. It is not a one big room but rather a chain of rooms with approximately 5- 6 tables in each room. It makes impression of coziness and comfort. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Interior design gives you an impression that you are visiting someone's Irish house. I ordered fish and chips and expected a few chips but they serve the whole fish piece. The cheesecake was amazing. Also, they live performances. There were a lot of dancing music fans but if you are not in the mood for music and dancing, you can choose a room away from the small stage. Place is a real fun.”

“Love the decor inside. Much brighter and more welcoming than Charlie Brown's. Our server was excellent, very friendly and informative. I thought the food was pretty good. I had the fish and chips which was flaky and tender with crispy fries. The onion soup was also very good. My companion had pizza which he thought to be tasty and prepared well, not soggy, nice and crisp. I would like to go back to try other items on the menu that caught my eye. They have entertainment at night. They just opened, so giving them a little time to get into their groove and shoot for 5 stars. 👍”
