We were seated right away (had a reservation), and some guy came and asked for our drinks and said our waiter would be right with us. We never had a wait the whole night LOL he ended up taking our order after we sat waiting for a waiter for quite awhile. We noticed the portions were very small for the price. While the Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious, you literally only get 5 for $14. That’s like almost $3 a Brussel sprout. I got the browser pork cheeks and while it was cooked perfectly, it had 0 flavor! Cooked to perfection, falls off the bone but tasted like nothing. It was disappointing. $185 layer after tax & tip i feel like we wasted money going here.”

For a birthday and our anniversary, we got the ribeye both times and appetizer which was amazing 👏 we also got a sherly temple, they did get busy a few times and forgot about getting us our drinks and Dessert so we left without the second time around, on out first trip we were able to try their browine and if you have a sweet tooth i definitely recommend. The waiter was very nice about the misunderstanding. But definitely, the only downside was going in for our anniversary and having our table forgotten about \(•-•)/ especially for the price I'm paying. It's still a very good place but can get too busy.”

“Upscale but still casual rooftop bar at the top of the Charter Hotel in downtown Seattle at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Stewart Street. It has a bar with multiple tables and couches that provide indoor seating and several outdoor tables if you want to sit outdoors and look at the great views of the city. We ordered the burger and fries and the burger was very good, the fries were good but not hot (some of the fries were cold and we starting eating as soon as the food was delivered to our table)- a little disappointing since the food there is not inexpensive. Also, take a close look at your bill-the 20% tip is included in the bill so there is no need to add an additional tip unless you want to. Service overall was good, the 2 people who attended our table were very nice although one of the employees rudely responded when I asked her when the bar closes (it's Midnight) like I was bothering her just by asking her the question-maybe she was having a bad day- the previous several times I have been the the customer service was always good. This is a very good good place to visit if you are in downtown Seattle and want to visit an upscale bar with excellent views of the city and good customer service (usually). The Nest and Fog Room are 2 very good rooftop bars that worth a visit if you are downtown.”

“Did not eat while there for a concert. The Shakedown is a near-perfect concert venue. I think it says "88 person capacity" at the door. Nice low stage, excellent bar selection and a great layout overall. But, for me, the highlight was the sound! They weren't afraid to push the volume to a high volume, which might be an issue for some. But, those people should bring earplugs, anyway. Not only was it loud, but crystal clear! I think the venue should invest in some more low end, though. That bass/mid/treble balance was a bit off. But, hey, it still sounded fantastic. I will be watching the schedule for upcoming shows and will look forward to coming back again (and again and again and again)”

It is more expensive and should be considered as a treat above all else. Our only complaint is we were overcharged, and due to poor timing on a Friday night, did not get a copy of our receipt. However some simple math of 5x drinks at $22/ea with tax and a 20% tip does not equal $190.00. It was disappointing that management did not follow up on our request for the ticket. Take a paper receipt and enjoy the theme.”

You seat yourself and then just kinda wait for a while until someone notices you. No one greets you or acknowledges you until your server shows up. Servers have been nice all 3 times but it’s hard to get their attention if you have a question or need something. The drinks are good but very expensive. The food is just ok. My husband ordered the jambalaya. First off it’s $27 for a bowl of rice, chicken and sausage. Kinda crazy. But what made it worse is that it came out cold. I ordered the pulled pork. It was ok, but also cold and a bit dry. Sweet flavor to it that I didn’t love. When we came here tonight it was to try it ONE more time because we really wanted to like it. When we left my husband said he didn’t want to come back. Too bad I had high hopes!”
