“We stopped in on the last night of our trip and loved every minute of it. Our bartender Paul was such a fun and welcoming host with lots of history and stories to share and he mixes up excellent cocktails. Several locals popped in and out while we were there and chatted with us too. It’s a great spot to take a rest and enjoy an old time neighborhood hangout. We hope to come back on a Monday to try Paul’s red beans and rice and another Grandma’s house cocktail! Thank you for closing out our first trip to New Orleans on a high note!”

“Really nice spot. Came here to watch the Super Bowl and was not disappointed. The food was really good and fresh. Literally steaming off the plate. Great flavors and great hookah. The inside was a nice size. From what I saw the patio was really good too. If you are looking for a nice chill vibe and hookah lounge come here. The service was a little iffy. Idk if they have new staff or what but they were doing what they could. I would def be back. Oh and their red velvet cake was sooooooo good. The only down fall is you have to pay 3 dollars for trash Fiji water. I don’t even like Fiji. Y’all should get more of a variety of water. And the mocktail was good but not 9$ good.”

“A friend suggested that we go to Rampart Treehouse and we are very happy we did. The Treehouse is a quirky (in the best way) New Orleans local bar. The decor is really over the top, with a wooden tree fashioned as if it is growing from the bar. The drinks are very good and the people are friendly and engaging. A really great bar with a great view of Armstrong Park.”

“A must stop for us whenever we're in New Orleans. A nice, dimly lit wine bar right between Bourbon and Royal on Bienville. You wouldn't know you are 1/2 block off Bourbon, it's a peaceful and comfortable setting. Even though it's a wine bar, there is full bar available. No food though, but they have no problems with people calling in pizza or other to go items. The owner, Patrick, is always around and mingles with the guests which is very personable approach for a bar in New Orleans.”

“We were a little over bourbon street and wanted a chill bar - no frills, just good drinks, a little food to snack on and a vibe. This was the place. Jalapeno cheese curds were fresh and addictive - highly recommend. Our bartender was so chill and down-to-earth. He was very pleasant to be around. We tried their holiday cocktail menu - the whip cream on the pumpkin drink was a bit much so I took it off, but overall I enjoyed. I also had their drink where dry ice comes out of it which made for a nice instagrammable moment. When in town, I'd definitely pop in here.”
