“This isn’t my first time here but it’s my first time trying The Green Zone’s brunch. What a delight!!! The food was spectacular. It felt and tasted as if it came out from my grandmother’s kitchen. The Iced Turkish Pistachio Coffee was amazing. The Green Zone is also known for their amazing cocktails and drinks. My favorites are the “Mint Lemonade & More” and “A Few of my Favorite Things.” You won’t regret it.”

The bar was quite full, but guests were allowed to take their drink and enjoy it in the lobby, which was perfect for Christmastime. Cocktails are on the expensive side as expected.”

I would highly recommend Present Compnay for any future events. The old firehouse has an amazing bar upstairs and down. The atmosphere and vibe in this location can't be found anywhere else.”

“I rented out a small section for my birthday in the basement. It was such an easy process in doing so in a month advance. On the day of the event, the space and section were all ready to go for me and my 20-25+ guests. I'm pleased on how everything turned out! The food, drinks, and service were excellent, and best of all, the manager was super friendly and accommodating! I definitely plan on having another event here in the future. “Although the dancefloor and vip section are both pretty small and cramped, the decent drinks the bartenders made and the good vibes of the people there made up for it. The vip section is on the balcony overlooking the dancefloor. I went on a Thursday for a birthday celebration so it wasn't that packed but I can't imagine how much more packed it is on Friday and Saturday. It was pretty weird that they played anime on the TV overlooking the dancefloor as it did not fit the theme of the place but other than that the place was decorated not too badly. The bathrooms were on the ground floor near the entrance and the area was pretty small so a lot of rubbing shoulders”

“Great location, they have two floors and the top one is a rooftop. This bar is great for happy hour or catching the game. They are within a 5 minute walk from the Nationals Park. They have a small simple menu of bites like loaded fries, boneless chicken wings, fried pickles and tater tots. They also have a variety of cocktails on tap like the Takoda Mule and Fun In The Sun. The beers are served on tap too. The staff was friendly, accommodating and made sure our glasses were never empty!”

“I went to brunch the weekend of pride with my girlfriend, and I loved being in a welcoming space with so many young queer people. Pictured is her smoke salmon bagel which was amazing. I got the French toast but it wasn’t that special. The servers were drunk and didn’t refill my bottomless mimosas at all. If you get bottomless, I recommend asking for a bottle at your table to get your money’s worth since gratuity is included. More importantly, they weren’t refilling waters. The drag performance was amazing and there were several Black and brown performers.”
