( 8 reviews ) $$

253 5th Ave, New York, NY 10016, United States

“I walked in on a Monday afternoon and was a very soothing vibe. Mild music playing around with a less than average crowd density since it was afternoon. The music picks up after evening and gets really busy. I tried the cocktails and chicken cheese naachos. The food was great and so were the cocktails to say the least. Alex took good care of me and was super attentive and loving, kudos to her! Would definitely visit again.”

The Honey Well
4.7

Closed until 04:00 AM

3604 Broadway, New York, NY 10031, United States

“Not a speak-easy, but it has that atmosphere! This place has a very long bar with some tables in the back… old fashioned and stylish cocktails… and 70’s music, Funk, soul and some disco! Great atmosphere!!!”

The Gem Saloon

Closed until 11:00 AM

375 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10016, United States

“Perfect for large groups during happy hour. I’ve been here twice with colleagues and we were a group of over 20 people; the service has always been speedy. There’s lots of seating - outdoors, indoors, upstairs. We didn’t have food but there were lots of options to choose from. The speciality drinks were great. You also get a free cocktail on your birthday! Simply show ID 🥳”

“Great speakeasy experience. You walk through the coffee shop to realise a big yet cozy bar setup behind the walls. The drinks are very innovative and yum! You can't go wrong. Loved spending time reading their menu it's worth a read as they pay homage to N Tesla.”

20 7th Ave S, New York, NY 10014, United States

“We walked in on a Friday ~5:15pm without a reservation and were happy to score two janky stools by the door. Cool. Dark. Well worn. Really felt like a speakeasy. Someone was late for their shift, so a lone bartendar was working extra quick/hard to serve everyone until help arrived. Our cocktails were excellent!”

Karaoke Duet 53
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

900 8th Ave, New York, NY 10019, United States

“I enjoyed karaoke here, but just be aware that this establishment charges you sales tax for the subtotal including auto gratuity (for parties of 6 or more). In other words, it’s not the subtotal that’s being taxed, it’s the subtotal + auto gratuity that’s being taxed in the end. That said, the service is great but the interior atmosphere is a bit plain. No ambient lighting and no tambourines. If you just come for a no-frills karaoke session, you’ll be good to go. I really liked the fact that we didn’t have to buy a drink minimum, though. I would come again for the service but the room decor could use some work.”

The Wren
4.3
( 8 reviews ) $$

344 Bowery, New York, NY 10012, United States

“This is one of my favorite bars in NYC - very chill either indoors or out front. Good cocktails but also a nice craft beer selection. Almost never too crowded. A gem in a neighborhood that’s sometimes oppressively full of tourists. If I’m in lower Manhattan and I have time I’ll roll by for a drink.”

Sel Rrose
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

1 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002, United States

“Stumbled upon this gem, and can’t wait to return! I haven’t been to the city since pre-Covid- and made reservations online with an oyster bar for happy hour- only to get there and it’s no longer in existence- i asked Google for “oysters near me” and it directed me to two- Sel Rrose happened to be in the direction of our next stop- we were thankfully surprised- great atmosphere, the staff was knowledgeable and made killer cocktails! Best Bourbon Manhattan I’ve had! As a chef, I’m picky, the oysters were fresh! The cucumber mignonette was refreshing with the sweet petites! And the bread service was anything but boring! Highly recommend!”

The Ten Bells
4.4
( 16 reviews ) $$

247 Broome St, New York, NY 10002, United States

“GREAT happy hour option. $1 oysters and a $20 carafe of wine. The place got filled up at the bar pretty quickly, but it has a back room with a long table and an outdoor area. Might be my next oyster spot! (And will still come back for tapas too)”

212 Hisae's

212 E 9th St, New York, NY 10003, United States

“Good music here and a vibe with lots of young people. We waited less than 10 mins to get inside on a Saturday night. Lines moves super quick.”

Aldo Sohm Wine Bar

Closed until 04:00 PM

151 W 51st St, New York, NY 10019, United States

“I was ecstatic to give this a visit on our trip to the big apple- the end result was just alright. We didn’t have a reservation, and we’re seated at our choosing (the bar) Kevin was attentive, and helpful with which wine to navigate next with. Four stars as -the aracini was a bit dry, needs more sauce or perhaps over cooked slightly. The plate needed a little finish wipe (nothing to cry over), the bursted tomatoes were a highlight of this dish with the pesto -truffle pasta lacked sauce too, and not much flavor, another dish that was just ok -short rib was spot on of the three, the mushrooms were delicate and delightful; the short rib pulled apart without tugging, too very little to no fatty pieces present -a plus note, all dishes had beautiful presentation to them -our neighbors had the tower, which was a unique way of cheese + charcuterie Overall, experience was pretty good, wine list was plenty to offer, especially when there’s wine you don’t normally get to try, atmosphere was cozy. I would absolutely come here for a glass with a friend or book. Wanted to try the wine flight, ran out of time.”

Bemelmans Bar
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

35 E 76th St, New York, NY 10075, United States

“Delightful atmosphere, absolutely loved the murals and the old timey feel. We went in around 2:30 pm, well before the music started, and it was really hard to get service. We had to wait for someone to leave the bar, and even then the bartender was not the most attentive. Drinks were good, definitely overpriced. You’re paying for the experience and atmosphere for sure. But not a bad way to spend a winter afternoon, if you want to be spendy.”

The Top Of The Standard

( 10 reviews )

The Standard, High Line, 848 Washington St, New York, NY 10014, United States

“Great place to view the city at night and see the sunset. I had no issues getting in and felt the staff was great! Enter from the side and not through the hotel. There is typically a short line outside that moves rather fast. Place is not open too late so don’t plan on parting till midnight! Manhattan drink was made with Wild Turkey.”

The Empire Rooftop

“Amazing views!! Overall great experience I went with a group party, so it was a lot of us so service at times was hard to keep up with, but the food was amazing. The drinks were really good and the dessert was phenomenal. The views are phenomenal. The bathroom was clean and there’s a lot of cute photo opportunity areas . Drinks-Spicy margarita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food- Wings ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tots ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Calamari ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizza ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Key lime pie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing”

Spyglass Rooftop Bar
4.3
( 8 reviews )

47 W 38th St 22nd Floor, New York, NY 10018, United States

“Very nice rooftop with a phenomenal view of Empire State Building and so much more. 🦋On the 22nd floor. 🦋 there’s indoor & outdoor seating to hang out based on the temperature and mood. But can get congested. 🦋 there’s definitely a spyglass. So you can see things up close & personal. 🦋I didn’t enjoy my “TIRAMISU MARTINI” way to sweet, felt mostly cream, felt no espresso at all. Very disappointed in that drink. But if you’re into that, enjoy. Next time I’ll stick to my favorite drink “espresso martini” just was hoping to try something new & like it. . . . Overall definitely recommend. Extensive cocktail menu. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 1-3pm”

Ascent Lounge

10 Columbus Cir 4th Floor, New York, NY 10019, United States

“My first time here and I had a lovely experience. I came for a work outing. The service was amazing. There was nothing that I can complain about the atmosphere was sophisticated and elegant. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our time there. The coconut espresso martini was delicious five of us ordered it. We had two different kinds of wine that were very tasty. The food was good, and the servers were very friendly.”

The Winslow
4.3
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 12:00 PM

243 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003, United States

“The Winslow was the PERFECT spot for our engagement party the Friday before new years. We had a roped off section so our friends could enjoy without having to mix with other people. The staff was so so sweet and attentive making sure we ha everything we needed and checking in constantly. We had some party platter food that was delicious and they didn't overcharge like so many other places in the city. We were slated to be there from 6-9 but once the DJ started no one wanted to leave and we ended up staying until 1am! The space is so cute and the team is wonderful I would highly recommend hosting an event here or just coming in for one of their amazing cocktails!! THANK YOU!!!”

The Flying Cock
4.3
( 16 reviews ) $$

497 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10016, United States

“Came here on a Friday with my friends from work. It’s a cozy space, they had a lot of tables and we sat towards the back of the bar. I did not enjoy how close the tables were with each other. We could basically jump into other peoples conversation it was too close, and too awkward to be comfortable. The food was good. We ordered the smash tacos, burgers, sliders and the best thing I’ve ever had and the only reason I’d give 3 for food The CAULIFLOWER WINGS. Sooo good. Especially hot and crispy. The sliders were nice, nothing special well priced. And last but certainly least, the tacos. It was a waste. The shell was so hard, very awkward to enjoy. Overall would be back but only f I couldn’t think of anywhere else to go.”
