“Simply put, this place in our opinion is quite overrated. After all the reviews from other people, the hype for this place did not live to our expectations. The food was relatively pricey to say the least and was somewhat lacking in flavour in some cases. The breakfast on tennyson was loaded with oil, the half avocado it came with literally had a small pool of oil in the middle, the mushroom and also the tomatoes were also dressed in oil which eventually made its way to the rest of the plate. The ‘poached’ eggs were actually cooked too much to the point where one was soft boiled and the other was hard boiled. The shakshuka had too much chickpeas which we found hard to finish. The sauce was quite sour too. Not much presence from the three cheese and eggs. The drinks were also nothing spectacular, with the ice tea not really having any hint of a peach flavour.”

“A good place to go for brunch in Unley. For us, it would not be our first choice to go, but a very close second. Would recommend for people with families, as it is set up well for them. They even have a play area. The only issue with this is it gets quite loud in a small eating area. Inside it is very modern, clean but a little dark. I actually feel like we are sitting at the cafeteria at IKEA! Service has been fantastic every time we have gone, and probably why we do go back. When we have had to ask about adjustments to a dish, they have been more than helpful, and suggested options for us. Great service, attentive and fast. Now the food is pretty good for what it is. Not much imagination in the menu, as mostly standard fare on offer. The dishes we have had have been done very well though, so we have no complaints. We would recommend the beans on toast. Overall, a good spot to go if that is the type of place you are looking for or prefer.”

“Almost every restaurant or cafe does a parma, very few do it well. Daniel Son is of of those who does it incredibly well! Everything tasted so fresh, beautifully cooked, excellent portion size and so well presented! I'm not a salad person but it looked so good I had to try it, and it did not disappoint. The chips were fresh and delicious. In addition, the cafe is lovely and clean and has an awesome rustic feel to it. And lastly, the staff are super friendly and efficient. Would 100% recommended!”

“Very impressive setting and atmosphere backed up with high standard Zaraffa's coffee and restaurant grade food. My food choice was grilled chicken fillet on Turkish bread. Chicken fillet can be dry but smashed avocado, sour cream and tomato? salsa made sure it wasn't. Love the hole in the wall to peer through (I can't tell you the secret sights, see for yourself) and just such a cool vibe The coffee roasting factory is on display too.”

“Excellent place to grab breakfast or brunch. We dropped in on a Sunday morning during the 2nd week of Christmas break. Meals were fantastic - great food, great portions and well priced (for a Sydneysider). Coffee was good too - very pretty milk designs! We had the regular bacon and egg roll, and the Canadian French toast. So delicious! Service was good considering the tables were almost full out in the garden, and there was a steady stream of takeaways too. Definitely worth visiting again :)”

“This cafe gets ludicrously busy around 9am weekdays and it is arguable if the staff are able to cope with the volume. People wait inordinate amounts of time for their coffee (saw people waiting 10 minutes for their takeaway) But in saying that, omg, the coffee is amazing and explains why people are willing to wait. This beats anything I had in Adelaide recently. Up there with Coffee Branch in the vicinity, probably slightly better. The sandwiches are also so well done. My chicken sandwich had fresh celery, parsley among other things. Was so delicious.”

“My day off must visit place! This is a coffee shop that I will constantly come in my day off. And this coffee shop has changed my mind about Long Black. Since I had tried Long Black in different places and try to accept turning my habit with milky coffee into long black. However, the Long Black in other places are really sour and bitter at the end of my tongue. I gave up on trying Long Black for a while. But this place pick my long black up and made me accept it! It was first and ever💕 Good job! And the staff are also nice, having coffee in their shop you can actually see how the effort behind making a coffee! Great experience!”
