The set up is in my opinion the benchmark for independent coffee shops everywhere. Professional, knowledgeable, polite, smiling staff in a clean and practical environment, serving excellent coffee and fresh produce. I see the owner Peter, helping out, serving coffee, cleaning tables and interacting with his staff and numerous customers. There is a steady stream of regular customers, who know exactly where the best cafe in London is.”

“Food and drinks are always good, service always friendly. Comfortable place to hang out. Inside tables are snugly placed so not great for wheelchairs but there's seating outside. Cycle races often shown, cool cycling related prints & pics up to buy and lots of local and creative publications to pick up. Wifi is very good and the line up of laptops along the window seats is proof. Thoughtfully there are laptop free tables.”

Coffee is served in a compostable cup so you might want to bring your own reusable cup if you are bothered by that kind of thing. A nice rich coffee didn't represent great value for money (pretty small size) and the muffin - recommended as the standout pastry - was pretty hideous to be honest. Dry, way too sweet and all the blueberry at the side. Like one you'd get from a petrol station. Loved the branding and layout but won't visit again.”
