“What has happened to Starbucks? I use to spend $2500/yr on Starbucks coffee and was always looking forward to my next Starbucks experience. Now, not so much. For the past 6+ years, I've seen such a decline in the quality of service from years ago. Being in the customer service industry for over 35 years, it just tears me up to see such a disregard for the customer experience and a commitment to serving the customer. Case in point, this Starbucks location is (what I would presume), not up to a standard. From the staff dressed in attire that presents a disheveled and non professional appearance, with a lack of providing the product the customer asks for (asked for a bold coffee and they said they were out but had medium or light brew available), to how the main public area isn't clean or maintained, and the restrooms being unkept, etc. The Starbucks experience is a true disappointment all around (not only this store but i see this throughout the chain). I suppose this is the result of accepting mediocrity.”

“Didn’t get to try food, kitchen closes at 3 , drinks until 4, how absolutely delicious the drinks we’re cosmic latte with a coconut foam , absolutely out of this world, fresh blueberry lemon muffins . Great atmosphere, beautiful set up. Very cozy . Highly recommend them over the franchise chains. Must try Unfortunately the specials do change the coffee i now tried different ones and I didn’t think the coffee was strong enough .”

My wife's avocado toast was generally average tasting, and for me, the pesto chicken melt had a strong taste as the chicken breast was too dry and hard. I wish it was a little more soft and moist. The coffee tasted like your typical average.”

“Heard about their Rose Latte and decided to check it out. I'm a tea drinker but a family member raved about this and it was delicious. Just a hint of sweet, rose flower and a light coffee taste. The staff was very friendly and the baked goods were to die for! The entire restaurant was spotless and the bathroom was well maintained. Will definitely pop in here again when I am in the neighborhood.”

A quiet setting with plenty of seats available as others scurry in for their injection of fresh cup of coffee. Quite music 🎶 played in the background. “This cafe offers excellent espresso drinks, hot or iced. Carefully prepared with nice coffee beans and top-quality milk. I keep it simple with whole milk lattes, the milk is always nicely foamed and velvety. Delicious! Some of the best coffee I've had in Virginia and certainly the best in Culpeper. The cafe staff are friendly, helpful and they do an excellent job. The shared setting with Velo Concepts, a space-aged bike shop with carbon frames, is probably not for everyone. I've been in many times over the past several years and have not been warmly received, the white guy at the bicycle counter has never once said hello to me or even looked up. Despite not feeling welcomed by the bicycle counter the coffee is good enough to make it worthwhile.”
