“I was lucky to have this very fine coffee shop just down the street from the place where I stayed with my family while visiting universal studios. The place had a great atmosphere, a great selection of coffee and latte specialties, and plenty of those pastries to choose from. Plenty of nicer on the wall, see the book inside and outside. The style of seating was quite buried with a small upper loft area, and a lower area next to the very studies, and various tables outside both in front of the shop and along the side. The baristas seemed very friendly and attentive, and readily gave advice on the choices that they had to offer. The strawberry latte I got was quite enjoyable, which I enjoyed along with a little gluten-free loaf - quite tasting with pretty star sprinkles on top. I went here twice over the weekend not bothering to look for another place because this one was just what I needed. If you are staying in Studio City, I recommend a stop by here for your coffee here”

( they will make it hot for you if you ask 😀) If you haven't had Vietnamese coffee you are in for a treat it taste like a coffee milk shake no bitter after taste but nice and strong. They have a huge coffee and tea menu as well as a whole lot of creative non caffeine drinks! Location is really cute for quick business meetings with clients! Very unusual drinks. “A solid coffee spot with excellent interior decor and an excellent wine selection too. I ordered their chilaquiles, a flat white with almond milk and their over night oats. The chilaquiles was probably one of the best I’ve ever tried. It was perfectly crispy and flavored/seasoned just right. The coffee was the perfect temperature and flavor was on point. The overnight oats really delicious and I almost ordered another cup. I highly recommend all three. Their cold brew Vietnamese coffee was a great pick me up that I highly recommend. I’d definitely come back again to try their other coffee drinks and menu items.”

“Warning for crispy bacon lovers … I liked the service and environment here, especially the outside benches while waiting for my orders. I loved the fox latte and enjoyed the kouign-amann with its brûlée saucer (though it’s so sweet about half of it was plenty for me). The mañana burrito was super hot - if you have a long commute I think it will still be warm at the end of it; I walked a block to my car, had the latte and kouign-amann and played Connections waiting for it to cool enough to take a second bite. So, I reckon it was safe to eat the bacon inside since the burrito was hotter than Hades. However, that bacon was absolutely not crispy and no matter how hot it has been I can never feel that pale, elastic bacon is safe to eat (nor do I enjoy its taste with that texture). So as soon as I saw the whitish bacon I had to open up the burrito and remove it with my fingers … note it almost burned my fingers; I had to be careful; and it’s lucky I carry a whole package of napkins in the car because it was naturally a mess. The quantity and quality of cheese and avocado were good, and one egg was jammy which is my favorite, though the other was hard-fried. As you can see there was also a good quantity of bacon. I feel this is a good quality burrito but as a person who only trusts and likes crispy bacon, I won’t be ordering this flavor burrito again.”

Lots of solid seating options and a great spot for breakfast. I think this was where they filmed parts of the Michael Myers movie too. I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu items.”

“A really nice and nostalgic coffee shop run by students. A little bit crowded during the day obviously... but fast and friendly service. The coffee seems a little watered down compared to coffee bean but it's still pretty good. The pastries and snacks all seem over-priced and seem unhealthy and are probably full of High Fructose Corn Syrup and other cheap ingredients that make me fat. I wish there was just a small cookie for 50 cents to have a bit or two with my coffee. The place could really use a renovation but at the same time the classic setup reminds me of my days as a student. I'm so glad UCLA didn't allow Starbucks or some other greedy corporation to do business on campus. Please upgrade the piano, and add some real plants, change the carpet, maybe refurbish some of the other features. Overall I give it 5 stars, I love being able to sit by the windows and enjoy a little cool breeze from the courtyard.”
