“I recently revisited Cafe Social with my family for brunch, and once again, the cozy spot in Norwalk did not disappoint with its delightful menu. Our brunch experience was overall enjoyable, featuring delicious food and perfectly crafted drinks. However, a minor hiccup occurred when I ordered a Tuscano Panini with a side of potato salad, which didn't quite hit the mark. Politely requesting to substitute the Potato salad with french fries, I was surprised to find a $7 charge for the fries on the bill. When I questioned the server, she explained that while the potato salad wasn't charged, the fries were added later and thus incurred an extra cost. From a customer service standpoint, clear communication about additional charges would have been appreciated. Despite the server offering a half-price adjustment, it left a slightly bitter taste. While the incident didn't break the bank, it highlighted a lapse in communication and billing transparency. In the end, Cafe Social earns four stars from me, mainly due to the scrumptious food and cozy atmosphere. My hope is that they take this as an opportunity to refine their approach, ensuring customers are informed about any additional costs in a more upfront manner. I still highly recommend the place, and I believe this minor issue can be a learning experience for the establishment.”

“We had our daughters 2nd birthday party at Honey Joe's this past weekend. The booking process was super quick and easy, and the pricing was really fair. Also loved that there was no set up or clean up required on our end making the whole process completely stress free. The room was very clean and ready to go as soon as we arrived and the staff were all very attentive. As soon as the party ended, we were able to just grab our stuff and head out which is HUGE, especially when you are carting out a bunch of kids and presents! All of the kids had a great time on the play sets and the parents loved being able to head over to the coffee bar for a quick pick me up. There is a wide variety of coffee options and snack options to choose from. I chose to have a tab open for my guests which made it easy for them to go and grab a quick treat while their kids played. I also loved the personalized card the staff wrote out for my daughter, as well as the little stuffed animal they gave her. It was a small touch that was very appreciated. Another bonus is that you also get a couple of drop in play vouchers to use on other days when you book a party. My daughter really enjoys Honey Joe's so I know those will come in handy soon!”

“This place never lets me down. I tried their tea for the first time and awesome choice along with their coffee selection. Also CBD can be added to your drink of choice. I highly recommend this place. They are conveniently located in an old factory building with plenty of seating. My Son had a Lemonade, my Daughter had Butterfly Mint Tea, and I had a Lavender with 25mg CBD infusion. Come check this place out. Totally with it! 👍”

“I had brunch there with my family. Place was stroller/kid friendly. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was great. Diner style cafe. Things we loved: Their mushroom soup!! Home fries(we ordered an extra portion) and avo toast. Things to note: Sauce for mushroom chicken pasta was salty - so give them a miss if you’re not a big fan of salty food. We would also give the latte a miss. Pancakes are more crumbly than fluffy but taste was okay - think they added sugar in the batter. It had sweetness to it.”
