“Great store. A must visit if you go to Kyoto. The 1,400 yen warabi mochi has a unique softness and elasticity that combines the flavors of warabi powder, sugar, and water to create an incredible texture. What made it successful is probably the result of spirit. The garden and building create a quiet space on their own, and there are no noisy guests, so you can spend a peaceful time. This is Kyoto. It's a store that's beginner-friendly. I think you can eat about 2 cups per person. Kuri Shiruko, which is only available in autumn, has the best chestnut soup in shiruko, but the chestnuts inside don't match well, and each one would be delicious if eaten alone, but it's a waste of food.”

“What an amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff. Truly some of the best service you could ask for. The drink and food was delicious and very special. Very nice bar with rocking chairs, and nice tables to eat at. Went for coffee and some light breakfast. The orange juice had amazing presentation!! A hidden gem.”

“Went with my family. It's our first time in Japan. I wanted a classy maid cafe and it did not disappoint. The five of us came on a weekend and got a reservation ticket. One hour later, we returned and they gave us a table. The food was wonderful. Please don't take pictures of the maids, it is not allowed without permission. Due to the European theme, the staff here knows much more English than other restaurants. The only thing that could be improved is faster service but I understand since it's such a popular place, with many customers and only about 3 maids to host and serve. Finally, please don't order too much food as take out is not allowed. (Google maps says it's allowed but the maids informed me that it is not allowed.)”

“I've only been there twice, but the customer service is very good. The bread tastes great! There are many lines on Saturdays and Sundays, so it's easier to buy if you go on weekdays!”

“I was very lucky because i found this place without any information. Actually when i saw menu. I though i came in wrong place because i have a sweet tooth. All most of menu is drip coffee that i didn’t expect it. Even my mother also she don’t like bitter coffee. So the server recommend mild roasting coffee for mother and i ordered kind of ice cafe latte. It took some time and then i realized the coffee drip is not same like other coffee shop. Also i feel sorry when they start ice carving for ice coffee. After drink this coffee i find out i also like non sweet coffee. It was great experience. Definitely, i will visit again.”

“Great service by Rai! Love her presence during our stay, very helpful in everything! When we reached, they escorted us into our rooms, and checked us in. She went through the amenities, and all the timing changes for male/female onsen. Really enjoyed the stay here. The only thing bad was the location of it, it was quite a narrow walk before reaching the bridge. But the view at the bridge was spectacular. Luckily, they could help us get taxi for us to get back to the station. 10 course dinner meal, some pickled sushi for supper, and a 5 course breakfast meal, we're definitely satisfied! There's happy hour menu until 17:30, so do get them!”

“Simple but tasty option for breakfast near Tokyo station- they have a jumbo toast and coffee set (comes with butter, jam, anko paste and a boiled egg) for ¥600 (until 12pm) …with free coffee refills. English menu available as well. Definitely would come back again”

“I visited during dinner time. There are customers waiting for seats around 18:00 and 19:00, so you can't relax. There is a set course and it is affordable. The food is a typical evening cafe menu. Most of the groups are women, and the seats are comfortable so you can have a conversation without worrying about the person next to you.”

“Edit: Sept 2020- This place was amazing before, but now they've updated their menu and plates and its honestly even more incredible. I didn't know they could do that. Love the new dishes and service is great as usual. They even have some English speaking (a little) staff. And the coffee is amazing (particularly the cafe mocha). ------- Sept 2019- This place has the most amazing burgers in the city! Their sweet Hawaiian pancakes are to die for!! We also really enjoyed their mochiko chicken and have been back twice within the same week because we love this place so much! Their Mocktails are so yummy and tropical and the service is great! They even speak a tiny bit of English! Can't reccomend enough!!”

“There are many kinds of Hawaiian Kona coffee and other drinks, but there were surprisingly few kinds of pancakes. For rice, we have Hawaiian seafood bowl and curry. It feels like you can stay for a long time on the sofa seat, which can be a problem when it's crowded. It's a coffee shop, not a pancake shop, so it's natural.”

“What a delightfully cozy spot overlooking the sea! From the moment I walked in, the staff at Zebra Coffee & Croissant welcomed me with warm smiles. And let me tell you, the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air! The croissants at this place are divine. And to complement these heavenly treats, they offer a fantastic selection of coffees. Whether you're a latte lover or an espresso enthusiast, there's something to satisfy every caffeine craving. I can recommend this place for a delightful coffee break. So, please grab a cup of joe, indulge in their tasty croissants, and soak in the soothing sea view. It's the perfect recipe for a delightful and refreshing experience!”

“I left a sign on the stairs telling me not to go up to the 2nd floor and waited for over 10 minutes, but no clerk came. I couldn't bear it anymore, so I snuck up and asked the clerk if I could sit down, but the clerk frowned and completely ignored me. In the end, I couldn't even sit down and left. Please note. .. Their service was the worst. There is a notice that you not go upstairs but wait until they call you, but no one called us while we were waiting there for 10 minutes. We even asked them if we could have a seat, but they just ignored us and didn't offer any service.”

“Stylish botanical garden with Starbucks. It’s so comfortable to stay drinking coffee among greeneries. You can try to make some dry flower and moss balls, Japanese-style small ornamental plants. It is said that their illustrations are amazing.”

“Used around 3pm. The restaurant was crowded, but there were empty seats probably because there were a lot of take-out customers. Ordered hot chocolate and macchiato. The sweetness of the hot chocolate is just right and I highly recommend it!”
