“I don’t get the high rating here. Service was awful. Nobody came to take our order unless we flagged staff down. Then they serve your mug or glass with their fingers on the rim! I drank from the bottle of my lemonade since the server had her hands inside the glass to bring it. The salmon was awful quality, I can find better salmon in Aldi or Lidl than there. Coffee and bread was good though.”

“When I arrived, the restaurant was full. People were noisy, and it was uncomfortable. The staff was pleasant, and the service was fast. The menu was only in the local language, but the waiter immediately offered help with translation. I ordered a smoothie and toast. The toast was wonderful, but I found a hair in the smoothie. I asked for a replacement, and they did it without any problems. The noisy atmosphere and the hair in the smoothie spoiled the overall impression.”

“Very nice experience! The restaurant is very traditional brasserie, with a large menu and drink list. Food was very tasty, especially the bearnaise sauce. Pleasant and fast service as well. Some vegetarian options on the menu too. Big terrace outside for sunny days. Parking spots available on the side of the road in front. One minus point from the place being quite noisy and my steak was not medium rare like I ordered. Overall very pleasant experience, will definitely visit again.”

We ordered the breakfast menu at 11:00 am and at 11:17 am we were informed the breakfast was only till 11am. A kind gesture would have been just to honor the order.”

“worst service The service was the worst with 2 Arab and black girls. I usually don't talk about race, but you have to talk about it. You have to distinguish. If you say it in English, it sounds like you're just being rude. First of all, I was told that I couldn't use the restroom + that there wasn't one. Most of the menu items ordered are unavailable. The whole time I was ordering, I was not sure if I was listening or not, but I was making annoying gestures. I received change for about 8 euros, but they split it into coins. The place with the least staff concept in all of France + Belgium Really lol, if you didn't know the language, you would have said something dismissive in front of me. There are many cafes to visit in the summer of 2023, so please visit other cafes or dessert restaurants instead. Don't go there and face racial discrimination.”

“My family and I are on vacation here and it was one of the few places open on Christmas day. The night before we saw that it was quite busy so we stopped by and we weren't disappointed. The espresso and cappuccino are good, they come with a tasty chocolate too. We also ordered tagliatelle alla romana and two double baguettes that you can stuff at your choice; the dishes were big and very good. There are a lot of pastas, some toasts, salads and more. They had a great selection of beers and other alcoholic beverages. The prices are perfectly reasonable. They have a few tables on the first floor and, it seems, some more upstairs. Downstairs is the bathroom. There are a few tables outside too with a couple of heating lamps. Service was fast and friendly. If you don't speak dutch you'll have to use Google translate to translate the menu. Overall a place I recommend and that I'd see myself coming often if I lived here.”
