“If its cars your into, this place is a must to go and visit, they rotate rare cars inside the establishment frequently. If your looking for spectacular coffee, we'll the name says it all. As well as awesome cars and amazing coffee, they also have a great menu of really tasty savouries and sweets. Parking is a bit tricky as they are very popular and have limited parking spaces, but the parking hassle is well worth the effort.”

“I came by for a coffee while walking around the area on a Saturday in October. It had been raining off and on but there was a table outside that was dry so I sat down. However, the hostess who seated me did not tell me that I needed to order inside so I sat there waiting for several minutes. Not a huge deal but when I went inside to order of course it started raining. So I had to rush outside to get my already wet backpack then come back in and get my coffee and then stand at a table because there were no seats available. Some spaces were not taken but had reserved signs. But once everything was settled, i enjoyed a very delicious cafe latte while taking in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely worth your time to stop by for a coffee, beer, or bite to eat.”

“We recently enjoyed a 3-course Advent menu at 'Drahtseilbähnli'. The food was delicious from A to Z, the staff was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. We also particularly appreciated that there was only limited space in the 'Drahtseilbähnli'. This meant that the noise level was more than kept to a minimum and people could converse at a comfortable volume, even though the restaurant was completely booked. An all-round great evening in the 'Drahtseilbähnli' - we would love to come back!”

“Very cute place by the banks of Lake Geneva in vevey. They have an amazing view form the cafe. They have a cute little library attached to it. The staff are warm and helpful. We stopped by to have some nice coffee. Quite close to the Charlie Chaplin statue in Vevey. It was a nice and sunny day when we arrived at vevey and bumped into this place. They have an outdoor seating with heaters so it was extremely pleasant and cozy even sitting outside. I think this has one of the best views in vevey by the lake overlooking the mountains on the other side of the lake.”

“Lovely staff and great food! Walked in here without researching but I’m glad I did. The service was exceptional. As a tourist, I didn’t understand the German menu, the staff noticed and offered me an English menu. They also re-cooked my pasta because they tasted their sauce after serving it to me. They found it to be salty so they approached me to ask how it was, also offered to take back my order and add cream to it. Pasta was cooked again without wasting any food. Really kind of them to flag this out to me. Only 2 ladies running the place but they were very attentive to every customer. 10/10 recommend! I had a great experience.”

The waitress serving us seemed slightly unhappy to be there and was not very attentive, but the rest of the staff seemed very nice. There was no space outside, but it’s understandable as we went there on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The tables inside are slightly squished, would be nice to have a bit more separation for more privacy. Prices were standard for Zürich.”

“I had a pleasant lunch break at Bicerin. The neighbouring Zellwegerpark has a nice modern atmosphere. A pond with lots of nature. The concept of the restaurant was perfectly harmonised with this idyll. The service was very attentive and courteous. All my questions were answered completely. The food was nicely prepared and they used good pozelan and cutlery. I enjoyed a risotto with artichokes and baked tomatoes. The risotto could have been a little saltier but other than that it was delicious. I would recommend a visit here, whether alone or in company. For breakfast or lunch. The lady at the service desk explained to me that they now also offer dinner on Fridays. I have no choice but to say yes until next time ;)”

I appreciate that they’ have switched to non plastic straws but the one offered now give a bad taste to your favorite drink… and my cinnamon roll that was heated up smelled like a cheese croissant. The oven probably transferred the taste from a previous order.”
