Before arriving in St. Augustine, I had already made a list of coffee shops to visit. From that list, I decided to give Dos Coffee & Wine a try. Dos Coffee has a spacious parking lot and a welcoming atmosphere. They are well-known for their wine selection, but they also offer a variety of coffee options. After perusing the menu, I decided to order the Iced Latte Coffee and some local coffee beans to take home. The service was excellent and my coffee arrived promptly. The iced latte tasted amazing and was perfectly roasted. It was a great way to start my day! I enjoyed the coffee so much that I decided to try roasting the beans at home. The result was fantastic!”

Of course it is not as authentic but in South Florida this place is a hidden gem. We went there on a Thanksgiving morning and unfortunately kitchen was closed but still we got our pastries. Latte was high quality and Belle, who works there, was so kind. We will go there again!”

The self serve cream and sugar station had obviously been neglected, very dirty, ants crawling around, no sugar, no cinnamon, no napkins and no one interested in helping. I found the sugar myself in the cabinet below the counter. The coffee is just ok, nothing special. I would go back but I'd like to see them put a little more effort into cleanliness and keeping things stocked. I realize they get pretty busy but these things are kinda crucial.”

“We came here on a whim to have a birthday breakfast for my daughter and what a fantastic little cafe! The decor is inviting and soothing. The food menu is not super extensive but the specialty here is clearly their drinks! They offer a large variety of hot and cold drinks, coffees, teas, matcha, and some cultural rare finds! We were a party of six and were able to sit right away despite Sunday right before lunch. I got the golden latte which was delightful! It came with a beautiful design of cinnamon on top! I had never had that and really enjoyed it down to the last drop! Others in our party had black coffee with hazelnut, iced caramel macchiato, Turkish coffee and an iced matcha latte. Everyone was so happy with their drinks! I had the Persian chicken salad on white bread and it was just as tasty as it sounded! The chicken was tender and the flavor was divine! Our party ordered the turkey club, a turkey club on pita (they’ll do this for you), the chicken salad, a Cobb salad, and a beef gyro. The only item that didn’t look too impressive was the Cobb salad, mainly because there was so much lettuce (a plus) but appeared to be lacking enough hard boiled egg. It also did not come dressed but we asked for ranch which was brought out quickly. My MIL’s chicken salad looked hearty and fresh and she seemed to enjoy it. My husband received fresh house made tzatziki with his gyro and really enjoyed it. The server was super accommodating and patient with us, especially impressive as she seemed to be the only one “on the floor” serving the customer and making specialty drinks. After a little bit, we saw a couple of other employees, likely from the back, preparing food. So excited to have this gem so close to home and in our town that is otherwise flush with chains. We will surely be back to try some of the other menu items and just soak up the ambience!”

“This is one of favorite casual dining restaurants in Tampa. Not only do they offer breakfast all day, they have a lunch menu with burritos, sandwiches, and much more. Their drink menu is insane! They have so many options like smoothies, teas, and even redbull and coffee flights. As an energy drink lover, I was amazed that they even offer redbull flights. The hot honey sandwich I ordered was phenomenal. I got an over easy egg and it was so gooey and delicious, it was a perfect pairing with the potato bun, sausage, and honey. Both savory and sweet, this is exactly what I want in a breakfast sandwich. The Cuban breakfast sandwich was good, and the soy chorizo was a great addition. “Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine FL is such a joy. It is full of some lovely and playful kitties patiently waiting for loving homes. It is a comfy and clean environment where lots of folks pay to spend an hour or more in the cat lounge and also coffee, tea, and treats are available too. Some folks come to just be immersed in the kitty vibe and others find their furever friend in a peaceful and fun environment. The $10 fee for the immersion experience supports the cats care there and also uplifts your spirit. In the four years they have been open they have placed 1400 cats in homes. Worth a visit even if you are not in the market for a new pet. I have visited twice so far.”
