It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere, always clean, and the staff get your drinks out FAST. They don't pay a lot of attention to you, so you have to really speak up to get what you want, but boy are they efficient.”

“I love their coffee but their food is just “okay” Super cute place, a little outdated but lots of space to sit and visit. Staff is great and knowledgeable of their menu. I feel that I overpaid for the yogurt bowl I got. I think it was $10 (?) and was just a few small scoops with various fruits. Tasted good but not worth the price at all! My friends felt the same way about their sandwiches. Recommend the coffee for sure though! Lots of options and tasted fresh!”

“I use cappuccinos as a test when I got to a new coffee shop because there's more ways to mess one up than not. The baristas here nailed it! It was very rich, the espresso in it was strong but had a lot of flavor, yet it was smooth at the same time. Perfection. The parking is easy, and the service is alright. “I went to Kopi last time I was in Portland and just had to visit it again. I love their unique concept of blending southeastern touches to their coffee flavors. Their kedai susu is a MUST, you won’t find it anywhere else in Portland (or maybe the entire west coast). It tastes almost like a chai latte but more coconut-y. They have a seating area but their hours are really limited. Everyday they close at 2pm so it’s not really meant for afternoon studying. Parking in this area is hard so you better hope you get lucky with street parking.”

“This was a nice coffee bar. The coffee was delicious and the vibe was modern and botanical. It was an open airy space. The barista was friendly and the coffee was good quality. They don't have any sugar free syrups. They do have a few signature drinks that look very interesting. I got the horchata latte with almond milk, and it did not disappoint. The coffee bar vibe/style isn't my favorite, I'm drawn more to the more warm eclectic inviting spaces, but that's a personal preference. What they do here they do very well, I recommend it if you jive that way.”

“We got two sandwiches, the happy goat and veggie grinder, side salad, a fontina pull-apart & a pecan pull-apart, and a soda and chai. Both of the sandwiches were super good, loved the happy goat. The veggie grinder was good but the baguette was hard this day. The pastries were a little hard/dry too, esp the pecan pull-apart. The caramelized sugar on top had really hardened. We were understanding bc it was end of day for them. The chai was semi sweet and nicely spicy. The greens in the side salad were fresh and the dressing was good. Really enjoyed the cozy space on a rainy Portland day. But I've had baked goods from grand central before that were way better than what we had this day, so that was slightly disappointing. Still a good spot for a light lunch. Stopped into ecovibe next door afterwards for some shopping.”

The only young man that seemed attentive was the one that brought food from the kitchen. The avocado toast was exactly what it was. Nothing fancy. Toast with salty mashed avocado and some cheese. My cappuccino was barely lukewarm. Had to ask to get it warmed up in the microwave. The young man didn't seem very happy about it.”

“Great place to work. Great food. Nice atmosphere especially during the weekday when it isn’t too busy. The place is divided into two separate sections. It is really nice since you can have a nice brunch experience or choose to use it as a work cafe depending on where you are located. I used it more as a work place so my review is more on that. The Curry Chicken Salad (Chicken Waldorf) was good (I think there is better but it was good for what it was) and couldn’t really complain with the side of chips. The ambiance was nice and would highly recommend here to come work or grab some brunch.”
