“What a quaint little coffee shop in the Riverside neighborhood! I had the Mexican Latte (hot) and my husband had the Almond Joy (hot). Mine was really good, with a warm, cozy taste to it. I didn't care for my husband's as I'm not a coconut fan, but he loved it! Biscuits and gravy were very good with an herb flavor I just couldn't put a finger on it. Husband had the Starving Artist burrito, and it was spot on! We don't come to Wichita often, but we will hit this place again sometime for a Saturday morning breakfast/brunch.”

“The service here wasn't great. However I went with a group of maybe 15 people or more. We all ordered and sat down to eat. Then the workers told us we had to leave as they were closing. That was very rude. They should not have taken our orders if they were closing and we cannot sit there to enjoy our meals. They told more than 2 times we had to leave. It looked like a very nice place. However we all felt rushed. The order with the plantain was very disappointing as it was only 4 pieces.”

“Authentic Bakery and Coffee house. Fresh, crusty, gorgeous loaves of bread for purchase! Coffee is delish. (If you want milk foam in your coffee, order a cappuccino instead of a latte) You can watch bakery staff work on bread dough. Large, but inviting space with plenty of seating. Check it out. Hot chocolate was flavorful (so many places have a miss on hot chocolate. These guys did it right) Also, love that you can request to drink in one of their beautiful pottery mugs if you're "dine-in". It's a really nice touch!”

“My husband and I went here while we were in town on a conference. I was excited about going and loved the ambience of the restaurant, however, our dining experience wasn’t that wonderful. First, I’m not sure if I our waitress was having a bad day, or if they were just shorthanded, but she didn’t seem very friendly. We did receive the food we ordered, however, I had to ask for a refill on my Tea and had to ask her to bring us some bread. We each ordered a meal from the menu, and I don’t know if bread was served with it, we just saw others getting it and wanted to see if we could have some. I felt like I was bothering the waitress when I asked her for bread and tea, and thought I saw her roll her eyes when we made those requests, but I could be wrong about that. My husband ordered Shawarma and he did not care for the flavors of it very much, however, I tasted his and really liked it. I ordered a seafood pasta dish, but when I got it, I not only didn’t like the presentation of it, but I didn’t really like the taste of it. My husband offered to trade dishes with me, but I didn’t want him to have to eat it either, and we just didn’t find it very delectable to our pallet. The waitress did come at one point, and asked if we were enjoying our meals and my husband told her I didn’t like mine, but she made no offers or didn’t even say she was sorry about that. As I said, it was our first time there, and maybe this particular person was having a bad day, but it was our first time there, and our first experience with this restaurant.”

“I was just traveling through town and stopped by this super cute coffee shop. Their coffee is a 10/10 and the gal working the counter was very sweet. I’m a coffee snob too and they make theirs just right! (Props to whoever decorated the place as well, it’s very classy and relaxing inside; perfect for a coffee shop ;) )”

“Incredible coffee house with a heroic cause, in the shopping center at Maple and Ridge. Top notch drinks and breakfast items are served here with a creative approach in pricing. All menu items cost whatever donation the customer is inclined to give, with a base price menu as suggestions of donation for each order. It’s definitely worth giving more due to the proceeds assisting veterans and military families as well as keeping this great business going. I appreciate the layout that has a patriotic and family oriented atmosphere, and plays inspirational music for a nice touch to welcome all visitors. I highly recommend Sojourners to all of Wichita.”
