“It’s rare to find a cafe with such an extensive menu of delicious local food, healthy smoothies, and the finest coffee. What’s the coolest part of Sagtown Coffee? The people and environment match the high quality eating/drinking experience. Sagtown is a cafe where everybody who steps through the welcoming doors is treated like a local. Doesn’t matter if you live down the street and you stop in daily for morning coffee on the way to work (or an early morning surf), or it’s your first time visiting Sag Harbor. You’re treated like a friend in this gem of a neighborhood cafe and eatery. This is a spot that makes you feel at home. There’s a real community vibe inside, especially when the owner (a local community leader and volunteer firefighter) is there to make sure every customer is satisfied and greeted with a sincere smile and a hearty Sag Harbor handshake. This is one of those unique spots which everybody passing through town must visit. If there was any coffee shop with the same energy and warmth as the TV show “Cheers” this is it.”
